Welcome to Oz!
I am sure that many of you share similar feelings of nostalgia when you think about the 1939 movie starring Judy Garland and so many others. Those of us of a "certain age" remember when the movie aired on television once per year! I can still feel the heart palpitations that began when the Wicked Witch and her minions showed up. She was very scary!
As such a fan of the movie, it's an honor to have helped bring the story to this next generation. It's hard to believe that in just 16 years, the movie will be 100 years old. But the warm-hearted lessons it carries are timeless: stay close to the ones you love, believe in yourself, be careful for green women carrying fiery torches, and of course, There's No Place Like Home.
Enjoy the show!
