Meet the Company

Sophia Martinez-Ortiz

Sophia is a Sophmore and this is her 7th show at Cypress Creek. You may have seen her as Dr. Henning in A Game or Kaliope in She Kills Monsters. She is so grateful to be part of this amazing show with such a talented cast that she loves to death. (Haha get it?) This show is very special to Sophia as she can relate to it and she hopes it reminds others to not give up on their dreams. She would like to give a special thanks to her co-star Victoria for supporting her and making her laugh during every rehearsal and to her family, friends, and Mr. Kahn for believing in her all the way. Enjoy the show!

Victoria Roman

Victoria is a senior and this will be her 10th production here at Cypress Creek High School. You may have seen her as Evil Tina in She Kills monsters or Agent Smith in Dinner with the Macguffins. She’s so excited to be playing Grace in this musical. She would like to give a big thank you to her co-star Sophia for always supporting her and also her family,friends,and Mr.Kahn. She hopes you all enjoy the show!!

Stella Babilonia

Stella is a senior This first and last 5th period musical. She is so excited to perform and bring the show to life. She hopes you all enjoy the show that she and her other peers worked really hard for.

Isaiah Baez

"Isaiah is in his senior year of high school, he's loved performing and working with others ever since he was young. His credits include Charley Bates in Oliver! And Scarecrow in The Wiz. Isaiah will always continue to inspire others and continue to work with such amazing talented fellow actors, singers, and dancers. Isaiah would like to thank not only his family but everyone else who has inspired him to keep going!"

Ty Cortes

Ty cortes is a 12th grader and this is his one of many productions (he’s too lazy to count) he’s been in! He would love to have a career in the entertainment industry after graduation. He wants to thank his audience members for coming to our show and always being the bestest audience!!

Malachi Franco

This is Malachi’s third musical and 7th performance at Cypress Creek High School. He is incredibly happy to be a part of a great cast, and would like to thank his family and friends, for without whom he would not be able to do anything. There’s no business like show business!

Andrew Gafoor

Andrew loves to surf and this is his first time appearing in front of people wearing a shirt. He has missed 63 days of school this year because the beach just keeps calling and he has to answer. Andrew is very proud of his 'Hang Ten' tattoo which covers his entire back. Andrew would like to thank his roomate Tony Hawk for skating him to rehearsal every day.

Sophia Genton

Sophia is a senior at CCHS. This is her first and last blackbox musical and she hopes you enjoy watching it as much as she enjoyed being apart of it.

Autumn Harvin

No biz like show biz has truly been an amazing experience as my first blackbox musical. I’ve learned and gained so much from my peers and directors and I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to show off my skills as a performer. Thank you to my cast and crew mates for really showing me that there's really ‘no business like show business!’

Landon King

Landon is a junior and this is his second year involved with theater. He is very grateful for everyone who has supported him and given him the confidence to continue on with this journey. This is his first musical and he is nervous, but as time has passed he has truly found a love for this art form.

Makayla Knight

Makayla is a Sophomore and this is their Fifth show at Cypress Creek High School. Their credits include Goldilocks in ‘little red riding hood goes wrong’, and a Munchkin/Citizen in ‘The wiz’. Mak would like to go into Sports Management after graduation. Mak wishes to thank all the door dash drivers and Father who helped them get through this show.

Jessyarth Lopez

Jess is a four time grammy winning country artist from Kentucky. Her biggest hits include, "You Touch My Truck and My Horse Gonna Kick You", and " Grandma Got a Shotgun So You Better Be Nice To Me". Jess has a passion for sitting on a porch in a rocking chair and whittling wooden otters. Jess would like to thank her best friend Bo Jean Tommy Boy for standing beside her when things got tough.

Marley Martinez

Marley Martinez is a Senior here at Cypress Creek High School. This would be her 8th mainstage show. Her credits include She kills monsters, Too Much Ado About Kpop, The Wiz and many more. She is so grateful to be apart of a group of talented and kind hearted people. She wants to thank her family and friends for their never ending support.

Walker Mattson

Walker is so excited to continue his career in his second production at Cypress Creek. He is currently a senior looking to study dance in college. His past roles include Billy Flynn in Chicago, Friedrich Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, Luke/Ares/Gabe in The Lightning Thief Musical, Colin Craven in the Secret Garden, Scuttle in the Little Mermaid, Leo in Too Much About K-Pop, and Detective Chief Inspector Green in the Clue Dinner Show. When he is not on stage he enjoys preforming ballet at United Ballet Theater and writing scripts. He wants to thank the Cypress Creek family for being so welcoming and his actual family for dealing with him."

Isabella Millan

Isabella Millan is a senior and this is her fourth year being in AMT. Along with her diverse extracurricular involvement, she finds joy and fulfillment in theatre. Leading Troupe 5115 as President, this is her seventh theatre performance at Cypress. She wants to thank her family for being endlessly supportive, and her awesome directors for putting this show together.

Lusdany Molina

Lusdany is in her senior year of highschool. She is thankful to be a part of such a great program and be involved in such a great show. Her credits include Supporting role in The Wiz, ensemble in Oliver!, ensemble in Merrily We Roll Along, and ensemble in Is There A Life After Highschool?. Lusdany wants to continue to pursue singing, dancing, and acting as she loves them to death and will also pursue her love for medicine. She would like to thank her friends and her amazing parents & boyfriend Jondel <3

Annalise Muñoz

Annalise really likes cheese. She has a motto, "If It's cheese, yes please!" Annalise would like to be a farmer when she graduates and hopes to spend many days milking cows so that she can be part of the cheese making process. Annalise would like to thank her future husband Bo Burnham for the inspiration to shine.

B Nobrega

B is a hard working senior in the Cypress creek theater program. From stage managing and teching to acting and singing in many different shows. This is their forth musical and you may have seen them in Is There Life After Highschool last year. They are so grateful that you came to see this amazing show with this even more amazing cast. Hope you enjoy!!

Abdianys Paul

Abdianys is a senior at Cypress Creek High School. She’s so thankful to be able to partake in this amazing show. Abdianys will continue her love for performing even after this show. She would like to thank her friends, family, teachers and her boyfriend.

Sarah Perez

This is Sarah’s final stage performance at Cypress Creek with Troupe 5115. She is happy with the family she has made with the Drama club as well. She would like to thank her mom for always pushing her all these years, and her family for always being there to support her. She hopes to study film and acting for television. She hopes you enjoy the show!!

Natalia Pinder

Natalia is a IB junior and this is her 6th show in this department. You may have seen her in “Oliver” or “Love/Sick” or even the most recent “She kills monsters”. She will be playing Rita in this show and hopes you will enjoy the show!!!

Yavier Rodriguez

Yavi is a senior and this is Yavi's 9th show at Cypress Creek High School and you might recognize Yavi from “The Wiz” as the Tin-Man. Yavi would like to study Musical theatre in NYC after graduation. Yavi wishes to thank the amazing friends that have shown support throughout this whole experience.

Hanan Saney

Hanan is a Senior Thespian this year and is participating in her second black box musical! Hanan would like to thank her Family, Best friends, and her teachers. for helping her develop as a person and performer! She also hopes you sit back and enjoy the show!

Gyanna Soto

Gyanna is a Senior and has done so many productions and shows at Cypress Creek High School. She has done two main stage musicals and has participated multiple One Acts. You might recognize her from last year’s production of the Wiz where she played the Yellow Brick Road! Gyanna would love to study Dermatology in the future and wishes to thank her mom Gemmi, her dad Tauri, her annoying brother Mani, Mambuela, Papabuelo, Mamalita, Mr. Allen, Mr. Kahn and all of her friends and family that came to see the show and for always supporting her. Gyanna hopes you enjoy the show.

Melissa Torres

Melissa died in January of 1981, but never passed over and never ages. If you see her in a dark alley, Run!

Haley Valkenburg

Haley Valkenburg is in 10th grade, this is her 3rd performance here at Cypress Creek High School. She wants to thank everyone for the amazing support throughout this rehearsal process and is so excited for everyone to finally see all the hard work everyone has been putting into these few months. Enjoy!

Anthony Wagner

Anthony is currently a sophomore at Cypress Creek High School. This will mark his fifth show with troupe 5115! He would like to thank Coach Hennighan for the continued support with all his pursuits. Anthony truly hopes you enjoy the show and thanks you for supporting the Cypress Creek Performing Arts Department.

Kierstin Wagner

Kierstin is in her sophomore year of highschool. She is extremely grateful for the amazingly skilled and supportive cast she’s been able to be a part of while working on this show. This is her 3rd show at Cypress Creek Highschool. She would like to thank her best friend Azaleia for being so kind, supportive, and encouraging every day, and the cast and crew of this show for a great experience.
