Meet the Company

Melanie Chervek

Daisy Bunting, Jingle Singer

Melanie Chervek thanks you all for listening in on this fun radio play!  May you all be given some laughs and chills and a variety of other emotions that may be thrown your way on these couple of adventures! Since the return to LIVE Theatre, Melanie has performed in Children of Eden (Aysha/Ensemble) with St. Andrew’s Prebyterian Church, the World Premiere of The Suffragist (Ensemble) with the original creative team at Gallagher Bluedorn, and How to Succeed in Business with Starlighters II, onstage as Hedy LaRue and behind the scenes as choreographer.

Dennis Cooper

Salesman, Talbot, Man 1 at Power Plant, Man on Bus, Man 2 on Aberdeen Express and George

Dennis Cooper is a husband, father, librarian, cat owner, comic book collector, and role-playing game enthusiast who lives in Iowa.  He is very excited to add "amateur voice actor" to his growing list of identities.  Vintage Hitchock is his second radio play.

Valerie Davine

The Professor and Detective

Valerie Davine most recently worked with ICCT in their Zoom production An Evening of Oddity and was last seen on the ICCT stage as Veronica in God of Carnage. She is happy for this opportunity to be part of this fun production and enjoying working under the direction of Adeara Jean for the second time.

Sharon Falduto

Winnie and Unsatisfied Female Customer at Bird Shop

Sharon Falduto grew up on a steady diet of both WKRP in Cincinnati and horror anthology programs such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Friday the 13th: The Series, so she is thrilled to be participating in this over-the-air drama. Sharon is an Iowa native who works for Kirkwood Community College as an advisor for students in the credit English language classes. She also writes for Iowa City Moms, https://iowacity.momcollective.com/, and volunteers for various organizations. She lives in Coralville with her husband, Matt, her three daughters Rachel, Samantha, and Piper, and her dog, Harley.

Kalvin Goodlaxson

Doctor and Ticket Merchant

Kalvin Goodlaxson is part of Combined Efforts Theatre and did performances in the past with them, his first ICCT performance was in The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus. In his spare time he likes to write scripts, and watch Doctor Who and Ultraman.

Paula Grady

Vladimir, Manager

Paula Grady has performed in many productions in the area. Favorite shows include, A Streetcar Named Desire (Blanche, ICCT), Company (Joanne, ICCT), Blood Brothers (Mrs. Johnstone, Riverside), Tommy (The Gypsy, TCR), Fiddler on the Roof (Frumah Sarah, TCR), Master Class (Maria Callas, City Circle), The Nerd (Tansy, Old Creamery), and Macbeth (Lady Macbeth, MoonGarden). Paula studied acting at the University of Iowa and American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

Anna Holland

Annabella Smith

Anna Holland has previously appeared in dozens of community theater productions around the Quad Cities, but this is her first show for ICCT! Offstage, she is an archivist for University of Iowa and lives with her husband, Dan, and their dog, Oedipus.

Phil Jordan

Verloc

Phil Jordan is a storyteller with over 50 years’ experience sharing tales and creating characters through community theater, television, and other live performance venues. A recent transplant to the Iowa City/Coralville area, Vintage Hitchcock is his return to performing after a hiatus of almost 20 years.

Nick Kilburg

Richard Hannay

Nick Kilburg lives in Cedar Rapids with his wife and a menagerie of various animals. He has appeared in several productions at Theatre Cedar Rapids, Dreamwell Theatre, and ICCT, including a number of virtual productions in recent months. He is grateful for the opportunity to continue performing and looks forward to returning to the physical stage.

Duane Larson

Our Announcer

Duane Larson Our Announcer: I Confess, I am all in a Frenzy at being the announcer for Vintage Hitchcock. I sometimes have a Suspicion that they picked The Wrong Man. I'm Notorious for being a little Psycho in these roles, but anyone who has a problem with it is for The Birds. Good evening.

Mary Lukas

Ted Spencer and Jingle Singer

Mary Lukas is excited to be making her ICCT debut. Dreamwell Theater has been Mary’s spiritual home (QueertopIA, Fix me, Jesus, Antigone) but she happily supports local theater of all sorts! Thanks especially to Adeara for the opportunity!

Beverly E. Mead

Mr. Sleuth and Jingle Singer

Beverly has been involved in community theatre for almost 50 years.  Favorite roles have included Ouiser in Steel Magnolias (ICCT), Yente in Fiddler On the Roof (WCT/Y’s Men) and Big Mama in Cat On a Hot Tin Roof (ICCT).  She hopes that everyone enjoys this play as much as she does!!

B.J. Moeller

Newsboy, Power Plant Operator 2, Mrs. Jones, Patron 1, Woman with Puppy on Bus, Police 2, Newsboy, and Waitress

B.J. Moeller has been doing theater since 2010, but #2 son immediately saw that she’s been acting her entire life. She will drive anywhere to try out for a part of an old lady who has boundary issues and doesn’t read social cues well. Her travels have taken her to Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Anamosa, Vinton, Coggon, Amana, and Belle Plaine. She finds that theater people are the best.

Amanda Monson

Ellen Bunting

Amanda got her start in theater in high school, joining drama club because that's what her friends did after school, and she found she enjoyed it quite a lot. For the past decade she has been a part of numerous community theaters in Michigan City, Indiana; Cartersville, Georgia; and Provo, Utah. When her library career takes her somewhere new, she joins the local theater community to find her people. Among her roles she has been Yente in Fiddler on the Roof,  Annelle in Steel Magnolias, Edmund in King Lear, and a drag king and detective in Mae West's The Drag. Much love and credit to her mother Shawna who has been her acting inspiration all the way.

Josh Sazon

Hollingshead

JOSH SAZON has worked on a variety of productions in the area, both onstage and off.

Brian Tanner

Robert Bunting

Brian is happy to be a part of this production, having previously directed It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at ICCT and also by Joe Landry. He will be seen in Willow Creek Theatre's production of Susan Glaspell works in November. He thanks you for listening!

Susan Wu
