E. Lee Nicol

Zach - Director/Choreographer

Finally! Lee was most recently seen performing Anatoly in CHESS (2nd Star Productions). Lee started his musical career playing trumpet and went onto be a World Champion with The Garfield Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.  After attending Towson University for Music Performance/Education, Lee pursued theater in NYC.  After a few tours and sailing the Caribbean, Lee returned to his “hometown” of Baltimore.  Lee has been in such shows as Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde, Ziegfeld Follies, …St. Louis, Joseph…, The Music Man, and The Secret Garden.  Favorite roles include Adam/Noah in Children of Eden - 2nd Star’s WATCH Award nominated show, Bobby Strong in Urinetown - Ruby Griffith Award winner for Best Show, and Daddy Warbucks in Annie, which won him an award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical by the MD Theater Guide.  Lee would like to thank DCT for allowing him to perform with the talented cast and crew of this company, and Bob and Leah for putting up with him every day.  Enjoy the show!

Peter N. Crews

Peter is celebrating over 40 years as an active member of the performing arts community. He returns to the DCT stage after navigating through the journey of freaks, as Sir, in Side Show. You may remember his performance in Catch Me If You Can, as Frank Abagnale, Sr.; in Shrek! The Musical, as Lord Farquaad or as an Ancestor in The Addam's Family, A New Musical. Now – it is time to get ready for the audition, ‘a 5-6-7-8’ ! Theatre is back and alive! Enjoy! VKM<3

Alex Gubler

Alex makes his DCT and grownup theatrical debut in this production after spending the past two years binge-listening to every musical cast recording at reach. Many thanks to Seth Fallon and the ACL production team for giving this Broadway nerd a chance. Much love to his friends, his family, his DPR Team, his therapist, and his other half Cole for all the support and understanding these past several months.

Julia L. Williams

Julia is making her debut at DCT this season! Recently, Julia was seen in Olney Theatre Center’s Applause Concert Series as Thea in Pippin and graduated from Catholic University in May of 2021. Julia has been dancing her entire life and was seen in college as Velma in West Side Story, Betty in The Threepenny Opera, and Abhoroson in Measure for Measure.

Seth Fallon

Bobby

Seth is beyond grateful to return to the stage in this dream role.  Previous Baltimore credits include Buddy in ELF: The Musical, Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret, Hanschen Rilow in Spring Awakening, and Will Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.  When he's not step-ball-changing his way across the stage, Seth works as an ICU nurse in Baltimore City.  Many thanks to the phenomenal production team and absolutely stellar cast for making this process a dream come true!

Amy Luchey

Amy is so thrilled to be back on the DCT stage after not having worked in theater in two years, really. Amy was last seen onstage at Annapolis Summer Garden Theater (ASGT) as Tess in Crazy For You. Previous credits include Little Women (Meg March), Sideshow (Strong Woman) at DCT, Gypsy (Louise) at Milburn Stone Theater, Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie Dillmount), and Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyndham) at Cockpit in Court. When not on stage, Amy is the City Group Fitness Director for Merritt Clubs. She would like to thank Vince, John, and Nathan for believing in her and giving her the opportunity to check this dream role and show off her bucket list. Amy would also like to thank Ryan for everything he has done to allow her to fit this process into her schedule. I love you and couldn’t do this without you.

Tricia is beyond thrilled to make her DCT debut in this iconic show, with such a ridiculously talented cast and creative team! Favorite recent roles include Tanya in Mamma Mia, Deb in Elf, and Pilar in Legally Blonde. Extra special thanks to Matt for wrangling the children during all those bedtime rehearsals, and Mom and Dad for fostering an early love of music and dance. PATRICIA!!!!

Alyssa is so happy to return to the stage after a two year hiatus. This is her third show with DCT after A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and Catch Me If You Can. Previous selected credits include Hair (Artscentric), Spring Awakening (Spotlighters Theatre), and A Lie of the Mind (Towson University). Much love to her support system Mom, Dad, Ben, and Alex. Derek Cooper

Derek returns to DCT after having performed in Catch Me If You Can and All Shook Up. Other local credits include The Little Mermaid at Cockpit in Court, Welcome to Shakesville at The Baltimore Rock Opera Society, Heathers: The Musical at How Do You Like Me Now Productions, Ragtime at Laurel Mill Playhouse, Sharkespeare at Fluid Movement and many more. Derek currently works as a Senior Education Specialist at Port Discovery Children’s Museum.

Stephen Foreman

Stephen is excited to be making his DTC debut in A Chorus Line. Stephen studied Vocal Performance and Theatrical Design at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA, and has been performing in the Baltimore area since 2016. Local credits include Dreamgirls at Baltimore Center Stage, Miracle on 34th Street at Toby’s Dinner Theatre, La Cage Aux Folles at ArtsCentric, Legally Blonde at Silhouette Stages, & Titanic at Heritage Players. Recently Stephen has been better known for his work behind the scenes as a Director and Scenic Designer for Silhouette Stages productions of She Loves Me and Cabaret, the latter of which garnered him the 2019 Washington Area Theater Community Honors (WATCH) Award for Outstanding Direction. In July of this year, Stephen will be back in the director's chair, helming a production of Zanna Don’t!: A Musical Fairy Tale at Spotlighters Theatre in Baltimore.

Lizzie is so excited to be returning to the DCT stage with A Chorus Line She was last seen here as Ali in Mamma Mia!. Some of her favorite credits include but are not limited to Maria in The Sound of Music, Heather Duke in Heathers, Sapphire in Rock of Ages, and Elaine Harper in Arsenic and Old Lace. Lizzie has been in over 20 different productions starting since the 3rd grade. Outside of the theatre, Lizzie is a former competitive figure skater where she skated for 14 years as a member of the Chesapeake Figure Skating Club and Towson University Figure Skating Club. She is very honored to be a part of a dream show and with a stellar cast and crew! She would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for supporting her dreams!

Hunter Lubawski

Hunter is thrilled to be making her return to theatre on the stage she grew up on. After her run of Mamma Mia! at DCT got cut short due to Covid, she has been busying herself as a magician’s assistant, dance teacher, and earning her Associate of the Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from CCBC. Hunter is ecstatic to be back doing what she loves, in a show she loves, at a place she loves, with all her family and friends there to support her.

Abby McDonough

Abby is a 17 year old senior who is extremely excited to be a part of her first performance with DCT. She has been performing for as long as she can remember, she loves every second of being on stage. Her favorite roles she has played include: Gleb in Anastasia, Penny in Hairspray at Glenelg High School, and a Napkin in Beauty and The Beast :). Abby will be pursuing Musical Theater in college and wants to thank her family for the endless support they have provided her.

Tyler M. White

Tyler is excited and honored to be performing with this great cast and crew in his first production with Dundalk Community Theatre. Recent roles include Ensemble Dancer in Beauty and The Beast at Olney Theatre Center, SpongeBob in SpongeBob the Musical with the Tidewater Players in Havre de Grace, Kent in Talk Radio with Vagabond Players in Baltimore, and Gavin in Fugitive Songs at Towson University. Tyler is earning a BFA in Acting at Towson University.

Chris Weaver

Chris is premiering at DCT but has performed in many productions around the area including Cabaret at Silhouette Stages and Spring Awakening at Spotlighters Theater. This is his first production since the pandemic, and he could not be more excited and grateful for the cast and crew. Chris is a graduate of Towson University with a B.F.A in Acting.

Mark J. Johnson

Mark returns to DCT after performing in both of DCT’s productions of Mamma Mia! He’s very excited to be back on the DCT stage. While he was away he performed in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Just Off Broadway.

Eric Bray

Richie

Eric is excited for his first production with DCT! Eric is an actor/director based in Harford County, who also works in the public school system. You may have seen him onstage recently as Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors with Tidewater players, Warner in Legally Blonde with the Suburban players, and Gomez in the The Addams Family with Streetlamp productions. Eric would like to thank his friends and family, as well as the production staff, for their continued support.

Coby Kay Callahan

Sheila

Coby is beyond thrilled to return to DCT after performing here in 2003 in the role of Cinderella in Into the Woods, a production she holds very close to her heart. You may have seen Coby at Toby's Dinner Theatre, where she worked for 8 years and performed in thirty productions. Favorite Toby's roles include Tanya in Mamma Mia, The Narrator in Joseph, Fiona in Shrek, Emma Goldman in Ragtime, Mama Rose u/s in Gypsy, Lady of the Lake u/s in Spamalot, and ensemble in Les Miserables, The Addams Family, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Kinky Boots. She also played Kate in The Wild Party and Brooklyn in Brooklyn, the Musical with Teatro101. A Chorus Line has been one of the most fulfilling shows Coby has ever been a part of and she wants to thank Vince, John, Nate, Lacy, THIS CAST, and everyone involved from the bottom of her heart. Speaking of love, Coby will be marrying her lifelong partner, Steve, just one week after closing night! As always, every show is dedicated to her late Leo mother, Maria, who was indeed married at 22.

Lacey Kraszewski

Lacey is happy to be performing in this iconic show at DCT! Lacy has performed at various theaters in the Baltimore and Annapolis areas; favorite roles include Liz in CHICAGO (Annapolis Summer Garden Theater), Holly Sullivan in The Wedding Singer (Cockpit in Court), Soupy Sue in Urinetown (Phoenix Festival Theater), Rosie in Cabaret (Vagabond Theater), Phyllis Dale in 42nd Street (ASGT), and Susie in Crazy For You (Cockpit/ASGT). Other credits include Shrek, Sister Act, Anything Goes, George M!, and 9 to 5.

LaShelle Bray

Pit Vocal Ensemble

LaShelle is excited to be in her first DCT performance! She has previously played the roles of Alice in PFT’s and SLP’s The Addams Family, Mother Abbess in SLP’s Sound of Music, and several others. She enjoys being in shows with her family and is proud of her son Eric Bray for his portrayal of Richie in this production. LaShelle runs a thriving voice studio in Bel Air and loves teaching people how to be confident in their own abilities on and off the stage.

Cayley Causey

Vicki/Pit Vocal Ensemble

Cayley is thrilled to be performing with DCT for the first time. She previously performed in Oklahoma! and The Wizard of Oz with Waco Civic Theatre and with the Baylor Dance Company. Other shows include Brigadoon and Seussical. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop at JSOD in Waco. When she is not onstage, she is a data scientist.

Katelyn Dixon

Katelyn is thrilled to be in her first production with DCT! Previously she has been the choreographer for The Addams Family at Hereford Community Theatre and Mamma Mia!, 9 to 5, and Flight of the Lawnchair Man at Hereford High School. Other credits include Anything Goes, Urinetown, and Legally Blonde at Hereford High School. Katelyn received Best Choreographer in a Musical from the Baltimore Theatre Awards for her work with Mamma Mia! at HHS. Away from the stage, Katelyn is a junior at Towson University majoring in Music Education.

Brian Kraszewski

Brian is so glad to be back at DCT! He was most recently seen as Benedick in Spotlighters production of Much Ado About Nothing. The last time Brian danced on the stage at DCT was in the ensemble for 2020’s production of Mamma Mia!. He is so happy to be working again with John, Marc, Nathan, Vince, TraceyAnn, Tom, Peter, Seth, Amy, Lizzie, Hunter, Tyler, Mark, Andrea, Todd, and the lovely Lacy. Andrea is thrilled to have the opportunity to lend her voice to support this amazing cast in a show that she was privileged to perform in 20+ years ago in the roles of both Maggie, and Bebe! You may have seen her at DCT as Rosie in Mamma Mia!, Vicky in the Full Monty, one of the three pigs in SHREK, or at Cockpit playing Irene in Crazy for You. Other favorite roles in the Annapolis area are Narrator in Joseph, Maggie in A Chorus Line, and Sally in Me and My Girl. Her favorite role to date has been as mother to her three boys Lucas, Conner and Noah and wife to her best friend Tod.

John Desmone

Director

John began directing theatrical productions in the Baltimore region over 40 years ago right here at DCT with Promises, Promises in 1977. Over 100 productions later, he is blessed to return to his favorite venue, to direct his 25th DCT show – A Chorus Line. Some favorites of his DCT shows include A Little Night Music, Will Rogers Follies, City of Angels, Ruthless, the Musical, which was named one of the top 10 shows of 2015 by the Maryland Theatre Guide, and, most recently, critically acclaimed sold out runs of Mamma Mia!. A recognized stage performer, John has appeared in numerous featured roles ranging from John Adams in 1776 and Roger DeBris in The Producers to Felix in The Odd Couple and George in Of Mice and Men – both here at DCT. Mr. Desmone is the Executive Director for Towson University in Northeastern Maryland.

Nathan Scavilla

Musical Director

Nathan is a Maryland-based Music Director for musical theatre. He is the current resident assistant conductor at Toby’s dinner theater of Columbia. He is on faculty at Towson University as one of the adjunct professors for the musical theatre program. In addition to keyboard conducting, teaching vocals, and re-orchestrating music, he is an engineer at Northrop Grumman by day. He is very thankful to his parents for making sure he was always involved with music growing up.

Maureen (Reenie) Codelka

Maureen makes her DCT debut with A Chorus Line. A Music Director, Conductor, Stage Director, Voice Teacher, Coach, Accompanist and Singer has been in Opera, Musical Theatre and Cabaret for many years in the Washington, D. C., New York and International areas. She has been music director/pianist and or conductor for over 140 musicals and 25 operas throughout the D.C. area, New York (John Houseman Theatre and York Theatre Company), New England, Korea and Italy. Current projects include Toby's Columbia, The Kennedy Center Theatre for Young Artists, The Shakespeare Theatre Company and, previously, with the Young Artists of America and Maryland Lyric Opera. Her concert and cabaret venues have taken her overseas as well as to New York (Don't Tell Mamas and others), California, St. Louis, Florida, the D.C. area including Germano's, Creative Cauldron, Atlas Performing Arts and The Arts Club. She was Associate Professor at The Catholic University of America School of Music (Creator/Director of the Musical Theatre program; Asst. Dir. Of the Voice/Opera program; Director of CUA Singers; Broadway Musicals and Opera music director/conductor.

Vincent Musgrave

Choreographer

Vince is happy to be returning to DCT. Past credits include choreography for, The Full Monty, Shrek, All Shook Up, Side Show and Catch Me if You Can. You may have seen him as well as Gomez Addams here in The Addams Family. His acting, dancing, directing and choreography skills have taken him around the world and include National Tours, Theme Parks, Regional Theatre and TV Commercials. This production of A Chorus Line marks his 15th production of the show and he is proud to say he has played every male character save Richie. He welcomes this amazing cast into the A Chorus Line family. He thanks DCT and the production staff and cast for this awesome opportunity. Thanks also to his husband Peter for his never-ending love and support! ENJOY!! A 5-6-7-8 !

TraceyAnn Tokar Smith

Stage Manager

TraceyAnn is thrilled to be stage managing her first A Chorus Line. Previously at DCT, she stage managed Intimate Apparel, both productions of Mamma Mia!, There's No Business Like Show Business, Side Show, A Year with Frog and Toad, The Bridges of Madison County, A Few Good Men, Something's Afoot, and Rumors, and was properties manager for A Year with Frog and Toad, Side Show, Catch Me If You Can, Something's Afoot, and My Fair Lady.  She has also stage managed And Then There Were None, The Unexpected Guest, and Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean at Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre.  Her directing credits include Shadowlands at DCT, Three Tall Women at Cockpit and Court Summer Theatre, Rimers of Eldritch at McDaniel College, Arsenic and Old Lace at Vagabonds Theatre, and Billy Would Have Been Thirty Today for the Baltimore Playwrights’ Festival.  Away from the stage, TraceyAnn works as a middle school Theatre, ELA, and Social Studies teacher at Sisters Academy of Baltimore in Lansdowne, MD. Okay, GO…

Eva Grove

Costume Designer

Eva has costumed several shows for Dundalk Community Theatre including Catch Me If You Can, The Graduate, A Year With Frog & Toad, and The Bridges of Madison County. Around the region, you may have also seen her work in shows such as And Then There Were None, Toward Zero, Avenue Q, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, A Few Good Men, and The Full Monty. When not costuming, Eva enjoys performing as well--most recently as Emily in Elf and as Mother in A Christmas Story.

Marc W. Smith

Technical Director/Scenic, Lighting, Sound Designer

Marc has been involved in theatre for over 40 years and has been responsible for designing or technically directing over 350 productions. With B.A. and M.F.A. degrees in Technical Theatre and Design from Towson University, he has been the full time Technical Director for CCBC Dundalk since 1980. In addition, he is the theatre technical consultant for the CCBC Catonsville and Essex theatre facilities. Marc has received numerous technical theatre achievement awards from The United States Institute of Theatre Technology. Several of his production designs have been displayed in juried expositions including A Little Night Music and The Cemetery Club for technical achievement and Bus Stop for Scenic and Lighting Design. Marc’s scenic and lighting designs for the CCBC Essex production of Zombie Prom were part of the finalists in the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and his lighting design for the DCT production of I Do, I Do, won “Best Lighting Design” at the Maytime International Theatre Festival in Ireland.

Amy Vickers

Properties Manager

Amy is always happiest when working at her home theatre, DCT. Amy has performed, stage managed, floor supervised, propped, set dressed, actor dressed, as well as sold concessions and raffles for more than 20 years here at DCT. During the day, Amy is the Administrative Assistant for the Psychology Department at Towson University. All day, every day, she is the devoted mother of Timothy and wife to Glen.

Tom Colonna

Artistic/Managing Director

Tom brings his 47 year teaching career at CCBC and his 39 years as Artistic/Managing Director of DCT to an exciting end with his retirement in June of 2022. A Chorus Line marks his last DCT production. It’s been an exciting “run” for Tom after recently directing Intimate Apparel. Other DCT credits include directing productions of A Year With Frog and Toad, I Hate Hamlet, The Octette Bridge Club, On Golden Pond, Love Letters, La Cage aux Folles (twice), Romance, Romance, Steel Magnolias, Cabaret, Ballroom, Thoroughly Modern Millie and 42nd Street. Other regional credits include directing Dames at Sea (Cockpit in Court/Harborlights Dinner Theatre) and performing in The Glass Menagerie, The Fantasticks, Night Watch, The Robber Bridegroom, Starting Here, Starting Now, Love Letters, Company, Six Rms Riv Vu and Edith Piaf, Je Vous Aime. As Professor of Theatre and Communication at CCBC his academic directing credits included, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, Intimate Apparel, The Fantasticks, Fat Pig, and Little Shop of Horrors.
