Posey Bridges

Ensemble
Posey Bridges - Ensemble Posey Bridges is 13 years old and is ecstatic to be apart of A Christmas Carol with the Renaissance Players. She has had a passion for theatre from a young age and hopes to pursue a later career in the arts. You might have seen her in Seussical as a Bird Girl or in shows with the DMS Theatre Department Annie (Hannigan), Lion King (Timon), and Wendy in an upcoming production of Peter Pan.

Jarrod Clark

Ghost of Christmas Present
Jarrod Clark - Ghost of Christmas Present Jarrod Clark was last seen on stage with the Renaissance Players as Prince Topher in their production of Rodger & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Some of his favorite theatre credits include: Annie Get Your Gun (Frank Butler), White Christmas (Bob Wallace), and Shrek- The Musical (Lord Farquaad). Jarrod currently serves as President for the The Renaissance Players board of directors and works as a Realtor with Realty Executives Hometown Living.

Brooke Corlew

Brooke Corlew - Ensemble Brooke Corlew 15 years old, has been doing theater for 7 years and has been in over 20 different productions. She has worked on many different shows with The Renaissance Players since 2016. Brooke throughly enjoys doing shows and was just seen as Buttons in Newsies. A Christmas Carol will always hold a special place in her heart and she hopes you love it as much as she does.

John Mark Faught

Mr Fezziwig
John Mark Faught - Mr Fezziwig John Mark Faught is a native of Dickson County. He is a recent graduate of Bethel University in Mckenzie, Tennessee, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. His theatrical credits include: Reyer in The Phantom of the Opera, The Escapologist in Matilda, and Sebastian In Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinerella. Technical credits include: Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (set crew) and The Curious Savage (assistant technical director).

Abigail Hatcher

Cratchit Child
Abigail Hatcher - Cratchit Child This is Abby's 3rd performance with the Renaissance Players. She is 10 years old and in the 4th grade. Abby enjoys playing the piano, dancing ballet and cheerleading with the Charlotte Lions. Abby’s most recent on stage roles include Little Sour Kangaroo in Seussical and Pepper in Annie. She hopes you enjoy the show and have a very Merry Christmas!

Emerson Hill

Turkey Boy
Emerson Hill - Turkey Boy Emerson Hill is a fifth grader at Dickson Elementary School. He enjoys riding his bike, playing video games with friends and musical theater. A Christmas Carol is Emerson’s third theatre performance, his prior roles were the Tinman in the Wizard of Oz and Rooster Hannigan in Annie Jr. He is excited for the chance to join the drama club at Dickson Middle School next year.

Tara Jackson

Tara Jackson - Ensemble Tara is thrilled to appear in her first Renaissance Players production. With a degree in Theatre from the University of Wyoming, Tara has been blessed to tour as a professional actress both here and abroad. Favorite roles include Rita in Prelude to a Kiss, Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday, Prudie Cupp in Pump Boys and Dinettes and Helena in A Midsummer Nights Dream. Tara thanks the entire RenPlayer crew for making her feel so welcome.

Brady Klosterman

Marley/Young Marley
Brady Klosterman - Marley/Young Marley Brady is incredibly excited to be returning to Christmas Carol The Musical, and to the role of Marley. Both the show and this role are very dear to him, and he is always excited to share them with people. He sends thanks to God for His blessings and much love to all of his supportive family and friends!

Leslie Kopischke

Leslie Kopischke - Mrs Fezziwig Leslie is excited to be back on stage after performing as Charlotte in Cinderella last year and stage managing Seussical Jr this Spring! Some of her favorite Renaissance Players roles have been Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Ms. Hannigan in Annie, and Mavis in Church Basement Ladies. Leslie would like to thank her family and friends for their support, especially her loving husband Alex.

Adah Morris

Martha Crachit
Adah Morris - Martha Crachit Adah is 13 years old and homeschooled by her amazing Mom. This is her second show with the Renaissance Players. She was seen in her first production with the RenPlayers as the Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical. There she fell in love with the people and the experience. She wants to thank her director Ms. Emma, for her much needed encouragement, her parents, for their undying love and support and the audience for coming to see this outstanding show!

Thad Pearson

Cratchit Child
Thad Pearson - Cratchit Child Thad Pearson is a 7th grade student at Dickson Middle School. He is glad to be back onstage with the Renaissance Players for his 12th production. Outside theatre, he loves soccer, Star Wars, pasta, and his dog RUTHIE! He hopes you all have a very merry Christmas and enjoy the show.

Stella Pearson

Stella Pearson - Ensemble/Dance Captain Stella Pearson is so excited to be back with the Ren Players yet again, and thoroughly enjoying her second time experiencing this show. She’s been onstage for nearly a decade now- and can’t imagine ever getting sick of it. She hopes you have a wonderful time watching the show, and have a very merry holiday season. 🎄❄️🕯️ HR1808

Hailey Ridgway

Hailey Ridgway - Ensemble Hailey Ridgway is 14 years old and has been doing theater for 7 years. She has been in 13 shows with The Renaissance Players, making this her 14th. She has a big passion for theater, and loves performing on stage. This is her first time performing in A Christmas Carol, and is so excited for everyone to see it.

Mak Stepp

Young Scrooge/Fred
Mak Stepp - Young Scrooge/Fred Makavin Stepp has been in 4 Ren Players productions. Though he has now aged out of the Jr productions, he looks forward to the future roles and opportunities to grow his love for theatre. He has been in Shrek Jr, Frozen Jr & Seussical Jr. Makavin has spent 10 years studying ballroom and tap with Crosswinds Academy. He currently attends TCAT in Dickson where he is pursuing a career in welding.

Kam Stepp

Ensemble
Kam Stepp - Ensemble Kameron Stepp has enjoyed the theater program with the Ren Players for years, starting with Shrek Jr, Frozen Jr and Seussical Jr. He is very involved in his church, enjoys football and is a proficient ballroom and tap dancer. He wants to pursue a building career and enjoys traveling and hiking.

Eli Stepp

Younger Scrooge
Eli Stepp - Younger Scrooge Elijah Stepp is a real people person, always hanging with his friends and spending time with his family. He loves all things theater and is always ready to put his tap and ballroom dancing skills on the floor! He has enjoyed various roles in Shrek Jr, Frozen Jr and Seussical Jr. This is his 4th Ren players production and he has goals for many more.

Nic Stepp

Youngest Scrooge
Nic Stepp - Youngest Scrooge This is Nicolas’s 4th Ren Players show. He’s really enjoyed being able to share his love for theater with his brothers. When not on stage, you’ll find him reading a good mystery, climbing trees, helping in the kitchen or practicing his tap and ballroom dancing. He has performed in Shrek Jr, Frozen Jr, Seussical Jr and is looking forward to the next opportunity for a Jr show.

Shawna Stepp

Scrooge's Mother
Shawna Stepp - Scrooge's Mother Shawna Stepp, instilling her love for theatre in her 8 children, has always supported their roles on stage. Shawna has been a part of Crosswinds Academy and enjoyed ballroom dancing on stage with her older four children. Now, she ventures into theater for the first time, a moment she has always dreamed of since she watched her father perform in community theater. Her ultimate theatre dream is to play Mary in Jesus Christ Superstar!

Tony Taylor

Scrooge
Tony Taylor - Scrooge Tony is thrilled to be working in his first Renaissance Production. He took a break from theatre for almost 13 years, but is excited to be a part of this production. He wants to thank the cast, crew, and production team for being so kind and welcoming. Tony also wants to thank his wife, Janie, and his son, Mason, for their support. With God all things are possible!

Jean Thompson

Ensemble
Jean Thompson - Ensemble Jean Thompson is thrilled to be returning to the stage for her fifth performance in A Christmas Carol the Musical. She has appeared in many Renaissance Player productions, with favorites including Into the Woods (Jack's Mom) and Once Upon the Mattress (Ensemble). She enjoys walks outdoors with her dog Winifred, reading, watching British mysteries, and spending time with her husband Carey.

Ellie Vetter

Tiny Tim
Ellie Vetter - Tiny Tim Ellie is happy to return to The Renaissance Player's stage after last being seen in Seussical, Jr. Ellie has enjoyed being in several productions including The Little Mermaid Jr, Annie Jr. and Goin' Buggy, with her favorite role being Molly in Annie Jr. In addition to acting and singing, Ellie enjoys gymnastics and reading. She would like to thank Mrs. Marilyn for sharing her love of theatre with her and her mom for always being her number one fan.

Nora Vetter

Fan/Grace Smythe
Nora Vetter - Fan/Grace Smythe Nora is excited to return to the stage with The Renaissance Players after her previous role in Seussical, Jr. Nora's favorite role she has played was Nancy in Acting Up's production of Help Us, Mr. Holmes. When not on the stage, Nora enjoys participating in Girl Scouts, playing piano, and softball. She would like to thank Mrs. Marilyn for her support and guidance about all things theatre for the past five years.

Emily Vetter

Emily Vetter - Mrs Cratchit Emily would like to thank her daughters for encouraging her to step out of her comfort zone and audition for this classic. She feels blessed to be able to share the stage with two of her daughters and the rest of this talented cast. Emily is a homeschooling mama of four and a Girl Scout leader who loves the Lord and her family.

Kayla Whiteford

Kayla Whiteford - Ghost of Christmas Past Kayla Whiteford graduated from Excelsior University this year, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Management. Theatre is life, and she’s grateful for the chance to learn how to stage manage! All things technology catch her eye which has caused her to start a small business in videography. In her downtime, she enjoys singing, writing, and hanging out with her family. Kayla is excited for you to see the show!

Kelsey Whiteford

Emily/Sally
Kelsey Whiteford - Emily/Sally Kelsey Whiteford is a sixteen-year-old actress with a passion for theatrical arts. Since age five, she’s been trained by insightful directors and vocal coaches and is thrilled to be in another musical with the Renaissance Players. Although Kelsey holds a deep love for the arts, her greatest love is the Lord and her faith in Him. She strives to live by one of her favorite Bible verses, Acts 20:24.

Laura Williams

The Ghost of Christmas Future
Laura Williams - The Ghost of Christmas Future Laura Williams shares that the first-rate thespian community in Dickson is worthy of the commute from Ashland City! Favorite recent roles include Clairee (twice) in Steel Magnolias, Frau Blucher (“Whinny!”) in Young Frankenstein the Musical (Circle Players, Nashville), and Mrs. Fezziwig (twice) in this musical. She especially relishes the opportunity to engage the little gray cells by learning various accents (German is the most fun!) for her roles.

Caleb Wray

Mr Cratchit
Caleb Wray - Mr Cratchit Caleb Wray is originally from Humboldt, TN but moved to Dickson County six years ago. This is his debut-performance with the Renaissance Players! Caleb moved to Dickson to work with the Rock Church of Christ in Charlotte, and since moving here owns and operates Charlotte Tax & Accounting on the court square. He enjoys staying busy, serving also as the Vice-Chair for the Cancer Auction Board.

Tory Gunn

Producer
Tory Gunn - Producer Tory is excited to be bring this timeless classic back to the stage with this musical adaptation of a Christmas Carol. Tory has been involved in over 50 productions on and offstage with the Renaissance Players, having most recently been seen in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella as Ella and behind the scenes as the costumer for Seussical Jr. Tory has also served for the past 6 years on the Renaissance Players Board of Directors as Treasurer and Secretary. As of January she will no longer be serving the board and will be moving on to simply the best new ventures.

Emma Jordan

Director
Emma Jordan - Director Emma considers herself so fortunate to have spent the holiday season with some of her favorite people, assembling this beautiful show, together! Earlier this year, Emma directed Seussical Jr. with the Renaissance Players. She is a graduate of Wright State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and has previously performed in various regional theatres around the country. “Thank you for showing your support, and have a Very Merry Christmas!

Carey Thompson

Assistant Director
Carey Thompson - Assistant Director Carey's passion for theatre is infectious, and his ability to connect with audiences on an emotional level is truly remarkable. With his undeniable talent on and offstage and unwavering dedication, Carey is a force to be reckoned with in the world of theatre. Look out for Carey as he will be directing the RenPlayers upcoming production of Charlotte’s Web in Spring of 2024.

Zach Richards

Music Director
Zach Richards - Music Director Zach is excited to join the Ren Players for the second time after recently being the Music Director for Cinderella! He is also the director and producer of the CWHS Performing Arts. Congratulations to the cast and enjoy the show!

Alaina Deaver

Choreographer
Alaina Deaver - Choreographer Alaina Deaver is so excited to be entering her 10th year with the Ren Players. Alaina fell in love with choreography while attending Austin Peay State University where she studied Theatre and Dance. Some of her favorite shows she has choreographed for the Ren Players include Shrek the Musical, White Christmas, and Beauty and the Beast. When she is not working on shows Alaina teaches fitness classes at Bungee Fitness Factory.

Sommer Pearson

Stage Manager
Sommer Pearson - Stage Manager Sommer Pearson is happily behind the curtain again, ready to make all the pieces of the show work together! She has spent the past year organizing the Dickson Arts Council to create a new home for the arts in Dickson. Keep your eyes peeled for announcements in the new year on how you can support the arts and be a part of building a better Dickson County. GTP.

Dorothy Hatcher - Costumer From a young age, Dorothy's passion for costume design was evident. With a natural talent for sewing and a love for the arts, she dedicated herself to perfecting her craft. Through years of study and hands-on experience, Dorothy has developed a unique style that seamlessly merges historical accuracy with contemporary flair.

Marc Pearson

Set Design
Marc Pearson - Set Design Marc is a huge fan of the Ren Players and absolutely loves to build sets. Occasionally will find his way onto the stage. He recently tackled the role of Inspector Pratt where he was both confused and utterly baffled by everything. Marc wants to thank Pythagoras, Euclid and Archimedes for all their help in creating safe set pieces that comply with the laws of physics and mathematics. GTP.

Alex Kopischke

Light Design
Alex Kopischke - Light Design Alex Kopischke had been performing with the Renaissance Players since 1999, and has been behind the scenes in Tech roles for almost as long. His first show was A Christmas Carol at the age of 9! Alex is thrilled to be working in this show, spending time with friends, & getting to see his beautiful wife perform every night!

Holly Corlew

Front of House Manager
Holly Corlew - Front of House Manager Holly Corlew has volunteered to help with with Renaissance Players productions for the past 7 years. She and her husband, Ty, take joy in watching their children perform on the stage, as well as, helping behind the scenes. She is a former special education teacher, who now is blessed to homeschool her 3 children. Holly hopes you enjoy the show!

River Hall - Sound Board Operator River Hall is 14, homeschooled, and lives in White Bluff. This is his 2nd show with the Ren Players. He spends his spare time playing the piano and performing with the Quest Center. He seriously considered quoting Sun Tzu here, but then decided against it, seeing as how it would be incredibly hard to weave in. He is currently not here, as a battle avoided cannot be lost. Bye now.

Laurie Jordan

Spotlight Operator
Laurie Jordan - Spotlight Operator Laurie, the seasoned spotlight operator, is a true unsung hero of the theater. With over 15 years of experience, she has dedicated herself to the craft of illuminating performers on stage. From her humble beginnings doing any and everything asked of her behind the scenes, Laurie has honed her skills and become a true professional in the art of spotlighting.
