Tiffany Walker Porta Burrows - Patsy Cline Tiffany returns to DCT after having performed as Patsy Cline in the Patsy and Friends Christmas show. Tiffany has been performing locally and nationally for over 40 years. Nationally, some of her credits include performing at the Aloha Bowl, Rocky Gap, and Carnegie Hall. Locally, some of her past favorite roles are Patsy Cline in Always, Patsy Cline (DCT, Toby’s Dinner Theatre & Winters Lane), Rose in Gypsy (MAF), Dolly in Hello Dolly (PFT), Marge in Bridges of Madison County (DCT), Mayzie in Seussical (Pumpkin Theatre), Fastrada in Pippin, Florinda in Into the Woods (MTM), Jan in Grease (MAF), Martha in The Secret Garden (DCT) and herself in Smokey Joe’s Café (Cockpit)… just to name a few. Tiffany was the Director/Owner of Drama Kids International of Central Baltimore and Harford County. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications (Film, TV, and Radio) from Towson University. Tiffany also holds two Master’s Degrees from Goucher College (Special Education & Elementary Education). She has been a Special Education Teacher for Baltimore County Public Schools for 15 years. This year, Tiffany is an IEP Facilitator for Woodholme Elementary and Mays Chapel Elementary (BCPS). Tiffany’s biggest honor and joy in this life is to be mom to Sophia, Joshua, Courtney, Raymond, and Wyatt, and wife to Ray. Her family’s support and love inspire her every performance.

Maribeth Vogel - Louise Seger Maribeth is thrilled to return to DCT to perform her favorite character again! She has performed in over 50 community theatre productions in the Baltimore area. Other DCT roles include Charlotte Hay in Moon Over Buffalo, Gorgeous in Sisters Rosenzweig, and Betsy in Octette Bridge Club. Some favorite roles include Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit (Vags), Clairee in Steel Magnolias (Heritage), Dotty in Noises Off (Silhouette), Princess Puffer in Mystery of Edwin Drood (ASGT), Mama Rose in Gypsy, Maggie in Jake’s Women (2nd Star), and Betty in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Dolly in Hello Dolly!, Marion in Safe Sex: On Tidy Endings, and Meredith in Batboy (Spots). Her greatest productions, however, are her fabulous children, Matthew and Claire.

Wayne Ivusich - Hal Harris Wayne is a 52+ year veteran of Baltimore area community theatre was last seen as Roger (Rump) in Tidewater Players’ production of Elite Grease. Recent roles include Cats (Bustopher Jones) Cockpit in Court (2024), Pirates of Penzance (Major General Stanley) Artistic Synergy (2023), The Addams Family-The Musical (Uncle Fester) Tidewater Players (2023); Our Town (Mr. Carter [cameo], DCT (2023); A Bronx Tale – The Musical (JoJo), DCT (2022) Cats (Bustopher Jones), Tidewater Players (2022); Something Rotten! Eva Grove - Mrs. Harris / Costumer Eva has costumed several shows for Dundalk Community Theatre including A Chorus Line, Catch Me If You Can, The Graduate and The Bridges of Madison County. She has also costumed for Cockpit in Court: Grand Horizons, The Dinner Party, Sweet Charity, Night Watch, Toward Zero, Avenue Q, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Don’t Drink The Water, and And Then There Were None. Around the region, you may have also seen her work in shows such as A Few Good Men and The Full Monty.

Eric J. Potter - Director Eric is thrilled to be back at DCT directing one of his favorite show. He directed the original production for DCT back in 2016. He is no stranger to the Baltimore Community Theatre, having directed over 50 shows. Here are a few that you may have seen; Sweet Charity, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Sunset Boulevard, Sweeney Todd, Next to Normal, Evita, and Forever Plaid. He is very excited to be working with Tiffany and Maribeth again as well as this incredible production staff. By day, he works for Johns Hopkins University as an Administrative Manager. Sit back and relax in Louise’s kitchen as she takes you on her journey of how she became friends with Patsy Cline. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I have. Love Always….Eric

Amy is always happiest when working at her home theatre, DCT. Amy has Performed, Stage Managed, Floor Supervised, Propped, Set Dressed, Actor Dressed, as well as sold concessions and raffles for more than 20 years here at DCT. During the day, Amy is the Administrative Assistant for the Psychology Department at Towson University. All day, every day, she is the devoted mother of Timothy and wife to Glen.

Marc W. Smith

Marc has been involved in theatre for over 50 years and has been responsible for designing or technically directing all 50 seasons of DCT productions! With B.A. and M.F.A degrees in Technical Theatre and Design from Towson University, he has been the full time Technical Director for CCBC Dundalk since 1980. In addition, he is the theatre technical consultant for the CCBC Catonsville and Dundalk theatre facilities. Marc has received numerous technical theatre achievement awards from The United States Institute of Theatre Technology. Several of his production designs have been displayed in juried expositions including A Little Night Music and The Cemetery Club for technical achievement and Bus Stop for scenic and lighting design. Marc's scenic and lighting designs for the CCBC Essex production of Zombie Prom were part of the finalists in the Region II Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and his lighting design for the DCT production of I Do, I Do, won Best Lighting Design at the Maytime International Theatre Festival in Ireland.

Joey's directing credits include Forbidden Broadway’s Greatest Hits, The Little Foxes, Steel Magnolias (twice), Driving Miss Daisy (twice), Daddy’s Dyin’ Who’s Got the Will?, Plaza Suite, Butterflies are Free in addition to Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, Go Back for Murder and Towards Zero. Lead/Featured performing roles in Witness for the Prosecution, The Secret Garden, Lucky Stiff, High Society, The Foreigner, Curtains, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Leader of the Pack, The 1940’s Radio Hour, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Company, Cabaret and And Then There Were None. Ensemble roles in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Anything Goes, No, No, Nanette, Hello Dolly!, A Grand Night for Singing and Mame. He is a Sr. Administrative Coordinator at the Johns Hopkins’ School of Medicine.

Lisa L. Boeren - Interim Administrative Manager Lisa has been the CCBC Box Office Manager for almost 25 years! Lisa brings over four decades of dedicated service to the Baltimore theatre community, marked by her extensive expertise in stage management and technical production. Throughout her career, she has overseen hundreds of productions across various esteemed venues including Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, Dundalk Community Theatre, and Phoenix Festival Theatre, among others. Her roles have ranged from stage management and technical operations to props management, costume coordination, and more, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to ensuring flawless production execution. She has been the Administrative Manager for Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre for the last fifteen years. Lisa’s passion for theatre extends beyond technical proficiency; she has been instrumental in fostering collaborative environments, working closely with staff, administration, and boards of directors to enhance audience experiences and drive operational excellence. Lisa holds certifications in budgetary development, leadership management, and crowd management, as well as a Non-Profit Organization Management Workforce Certificate from CCBC, underscoring her proficiency in organizational management and operational oversight. Her dedication to theatre and community enrichment continues to inspire and elevate the arts scene in Baltimore.

Ted Swindley

Author
Ted Swindley is internationally known as writer and director of the popular musical, Always, Patsy Cline. He is the founding artistic director of STAGES REP in Houston, Texas. He was also named to the Esquire Magazine’s register of outstanding Americans in arts and letters. Mr. Swindley was the recipient of the Los Angeles Dramalogue award for outstanding direction of Carnal Knowledge by Jules Feiffer. Currently, he is president of Ted Swindley Productions, Inc., a theatrical licensing and consulting company, and continues his 30 year career writing plays and musicals, consulting and mentoring playwrights, as well as directing plays for various theatres throughout the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Swindley is an active member of The Dramatists Guild of America and Stage Directors and Choreographers.
