Jesse Drake

Director/Music Director/Co-Choreographer
Jesse Drake - Director/Music Director/Co-Choreographer Jesse has been directing and musically directing around Southern New Hampshire since 2017, with his debut being with Actorsingers and their still-lauded Teen production of "Jesus Christ Superstar". He has also been performing in the New Hampshire community theatre circuit since 2009. Since 2021, he's been a regular director and musical director for Kids Coop Theatre in Derry and more recently started serving as an active member of their Board of Directors. You may recognize him from such recent acting roles as Aladdin in Actors Cooperative Theatre's production of "Twisted" or as Adolfo Pirelli in Actorsingers' Fall 2022 production of "Sweeney Todd". One of Jesse's favorite roles to date would have to be Butch Honeywell in Milford Area Players' production of "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" this past Spring. Trying to manage two and a half directing jobs at once has been a daunting but fruitful experience for Jesse and he sincerely hopes you enjoy the tireless work the cast and crew have dedicated to this production; this show would truly not exist without their efforts.

Jess Vaughn

Co-Choreographer
Jess Vaughn - Co-Choreographer Jess is proud of the cast of Cruel Intentions at Actors Coop Theatre. She has performed and worked behind the scenes for multiple professional and community productions throughout New England and has fronted various award-winning original and cover bands. Director's Note

Director's Note

Set in the glamorous and scandalous world of Manhattan's Upper East Side, "Cruel Intentions" tells the story of seduction, betrayal, and revenge among a group of wealthy and manipulative teenagers. Adapted from the cult classic film of the same name, this show captures the essence of the '90s with its nostalgic soundtrack.

The complexities of Kathryn Merteuil shine first and foremost through her taboo sibling intimacy with Sebastian and the insatiable desire to manipulate those around her for her own satisfaction.

As you witness the devious schemes and unexpected alliances unfold on stage, you may find yourself questioning who to trust and where loyalties truly lie. I invite you to immerse yourself in the world of "Cruel Intentions" and experience the highs and lows of love, lust, and deception.

Please enjoy this nostalgia-fueled rollercoaster of a show!
