Directors Note
Hello All!
Life is the Bubbles Under the Sea!
It certainly has been for us here at StageDoor! This show is unwaveringly fun in all facets. In what other show do you get to have roller skating eels and tap dancing seagulls? Taking a Cartoon and putting it on stage with real actors is an insanely fun yet incredibly daunting task, and this group has nailed it. I couldn't be more proud of this group's willingness to step out of their comfort zone and act in highly unusual and ridiculous ways. It has been really inspirational to witness.
This show contains a great deal about learning to stand up for oneself, pursuing one's dreams, and gaining independence. Further this show explores courage, both in the need to let go for growth to occur and in taking steps towards growth itself. The real name of the game however is love, for oneself, for others, for family, and the way it can overcome adversity.
This cast is wonderfully energetic and ambitious. Trust me, you’ll be swept away and want to join us under the sea!
We are so proud of this show, thank you all for joining us!
