Theatre West’s Diversity Initiative is thrilled to welcome you to FITTING OUT, a virtual festival of short play readings.
Early this year the company welcomed ten diverse playwrights from across the country to share their new work with us. The plays were honed from feedback received in Theatre West’s Writers Workshop.
After that, each play went into virtual rehearsal with actors, directors, and interpreters Zooming in from across the continental United States and Hawaii.
Everyone involved embraced the technical challenges with good humor and a belief in the importance of these plays in this time.
We are honored to present these bold, unique, and iconoclastic voices to you.
To celebrate Pride Month we kick the festival off with five plays focused on LGBTQIA + issues.
