DIRECTOR’S NOTE
Directing these fine performers and students has been an absolute blast. I consider directing a true honor and I don’t take it for granted. I don’t pull any punches and always encourage them to go OVER THE TOP! I am humbled they would choose to trust my vision and follow along with my crazy scripts/ideas. I never thought I’d be able to write shows like this. I learned from the best teachers and directors, my parents: Steve and Marily Harrington! It was in productions like these, written by my parents, where I started my creative theatrical journey. I owe so much to them for opening up the magical world of theatre to me. To all my students past/present/future: the only limitations are the ones we impose on ourselves and “all the world’s a stage.....” So let your light shine!

OUR MISSION
Across Northern Colorado, thousands of youth and adults face obstacles that hinder their personal growth. Lack of access to positive outlets, safe environments, and opportunities to explore their creative potential often leads to a decline in mental wellness. Colorado ranks 43rd in the country for mental health issues and lack of resources. Our programs have proven to be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change. However, our current facilities and resources limit our ability to serve our growing community.
FYL is launching an ambitious $2 million capital campaign to purchase a building our community can call a forever home. This building will serve as a creative hub for the Northern Colorado community. With your support, we can expand our reach and amplify our impact, offering more people the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of the performing arts.
