Marry Me, Dennis Branigan

Kevin Phan

Kevin is honored to be a part of this new play and to originate the role of Dennis Branigan. He has worked at many theaters across San Diego. He is most known for his roles in The Rocky Horror Show (Brad Majors), OB Playhouse; Puffs (Oliver Rivers), The Eastern; American Idiot (St. Jimmy), Southwestern College. He has received awards for his performances in How to Succeed in Business... and American Idiot (Patio Playhouse). Most recently, he was nominated for a Broadway World Award for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Performer for his role as Brad in The Rocky Horror Show. Kevin is grateful for the support of his loved ones.

Tyler Kirk

Tyler is excited to be taking on the role as Scott! He was last seen as Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show at OB Playhouse. He'd like to thank his friends and family for their continuous love and support. Thank you to Michael! Enjoy the show! 

Dani Leandra

Dani Leandra wants to thank Michael for trusting her with this chance to bring Susan Miller to life! Shout out to her cast for being amazing to work with! Lots of love to her wife for the never ending support! Enjoy the show!

Stephen Simpson

Stephen is tremendously excited to be a part of the incredible cast of Marry Me, Dennis Branigan on stage at the Tenth Avenue Theatre Center! He recently appeared in the musical Anything Goes and the world premier of Air Turbulence: A Comedy at 30,000 Feet, both at the Star Theatre in Oceanside, CA. His other credits include King Lear (Edmund) and Macbeth (Ross), with the Theatre Mints company. He has appeared in supporting roles in numerous independent films and would like to thank his friends and family for their support!

Michael Mizerany

Michael Mizerany is an award winning choreographer and writer. His short play, 20 Minutes and Counting, won the 2016 San Diego Fringe Festival Award for Best Writing. In 2018, his play The Big D was produced by Ronnie Larsen Presents at The Abyss Theatre in Fort Lauderdale and had a sold out four week run. In 2019, Compulsion Dance & Theatre produced Michael’s play, Wally & His Lover Boys. In 2020, his short play, Johnny & Babs vs The Apocalypse, was one of ten plays chosen to be performed virtually at the Gay4Detroit Short Play Festival. Recently, Michael’s podcast Halloween Double Dare, featuring Johnny & Babs vs The Apocalypse and the short play Die Already!, received over 2000 downloads.

Teresa Craven

Teresa E. Craven is a Freelance theatre Costume/Wig/MUA Designer and native to San Diego. She graduated from FCC (Fashion Careers College) with a Degree in Fashion Designer (AA). She worked in the industry for over 10 years before deciding to get her Cosmetologist license from CHDA (California Hair Design).

Her most recent designs for wigs and costumes were for The Rocky Horror Show The Musical 2021 Directed by Michael Mizerany featured at OB Playhouse. Past productions Disenchanted 2020(OB Playhouse), Heathers: The Musical 2019(OB Playhouse), Dogfight 2019 (Coronado Playhouse), Pageant the Musical 2019 (OB Playhouse), Scrooge in Rouge 2018 & 2019(OB Playhouse), Xanadu 2017 (Onstage Playhouse), Spring Awakening 2017 (Onstage Playhouse), Rent 2015 (Onstage Playhouse).

Jared Jacobs

Jared Jacobs (Lighting Designer) is based in San Diego, specializing in theater, live performance, and custom lighting projects. Born in Maine, Jared started designing when he was 12 years old for school theater projects. After high school, Jared joined the Marines and was stationed in San Diego. He quickly found local community theaters in San Diego to start designing lighting again, most recently designing “The Rocky Horror Show” and “Spamalot” at OB Playhouse and Theatre Company.
