Nika Aguilar
Ensemble
Nika Aguilar (Ensemble, Sound Designer) is a senior studying Neuroscience, Linguistics, and Theatre Arts. She’s elated to continue her work in devised physical theatre with Rick Wamer, whose artistry and humanity continue to inspire her. Recent credits include Macbitches at Scoundrel & Scamp, The Miss Firecracker Contest at Live Theatre Workshop, and People, Places & Things at Scoundrel & Scamp. The Tornabene Theatre holds special meaning for her: it was the first stage she ever performed on, playing Medea in the Spring 2024 production of Argonautika. Outside of theatre, she spends her time singing in her band, playing chess, and conquering escape rooms with her friends. She would like to thank her amazing ensemble; Nate Dryden, a gift to this world; Matt Marcus, who reignited her forgotten passion for audio engineering; her partner, for his unwavering support; her father, for his guidance and for helping her keep the fire for life burning; and her niece, whose pure heart and humor remind her that joy is waiting in every corner. “You—yes, you sitting there reading this—are the reason we do this work. Thank you for your presence. Enjoy the show!”
Alivia Alexander
Ensemble
Alivia Alexander (Ensemble) is a junior majoring in Spanish and Leadership and Learning Innovation and minoring in Theatre Arts and Music. She has been involved in musical theatre since childhood and her most recent stage appearances were in The Music Man (Marian Paroo) and Honk! (Ida) in Batavia, Ohio. Alivia is enjoying embracing a new style of theatre and appreciating nature more through The Climate Project. She believes in the power of theatre to connect and move artists and audiences, and hopes this show does just that. She is grateful to God, her given and chosen family, and to the cast and crew of The Climate Project for all of the support and community.
