Linda Bon
Linda Bon runs the Theatre Arts program at Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and co-directs the Whitney Performing Arts Camp. She previously taught vocal music in the ABC district. Before becoming a teacher and director, she played a witch in Macbeth under director Des McAnuff, Ruth in Pinter’s Homecoming under director William Ball, Mary Brenham in Our Country’s Good directed by Andrei Serban and Aggie Wainwright in the Steppenwolf production of The Grapes of Wrath, directed by Frank Galati. More recently, she has performed locally at The Rose Center Theatre, Long Beach Playhouse, Whitney PAC, and A Noise Within. She has an MFA-Acting from UCSD.
Gale Brennan
Gale began her non-traditional acting career in the Bay Area where she grew up. As a specialist in improvised theater, she co-created the comedy troupes, Mumblypeg and Older Girls Gone Reasonably Wild. She hosted a national Game Show tour for Nickelodeon Live, performed with Shakespeare Santa Barbara, and worked for Disney Imagineering as an actor/improvisor in show concept play-testing. And for Disney Performing Arts teaching thousands of students improv and acting. As a member of Impro Theater’s Lab Company, Gale performed improvised plays in classic genres, including Dickens, Tennessee Williams, and Chekhov. Gale is currently a member of the devised theater troupe What You Will with Ensemble Shakespeare Company in Pasadena. Gale also co-founded the all-woman improvised Shakespeare troupe, Shrew, which performs at festivals and theaters throughout California and beyond, most notably, at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Gale lives in Glendale with her songwriter husband Tom and her artist teenager Izzy.
