Keyana Hemphill
Keyana Hemphill (she/her) is a New York-based actor and stage manager. She is excited to be joining the team again for this full production! Most recently, she reprised her role in Jordan Baum’s 21 Century Princess at The Collapsible Hole. BFA: NYU Tisch ‘17. Adin Lenahan is a writer and performer. They are the 2026 Page 73 Playwriting Fellow. Andrea Cárdenas
Andrea Cárdenas is a Colombian-American performer and writer who cannot remember her password. She was a 2024-25 Artist in Residence at Ars Nova, and trained at Maggie Flanigan Studio. She is currently pursuing her MFA at NYU. Her work has been featured on Netflix, Refinery29, Comedy Central, and other outlets.

Benjamin Snyder
Benjamin Snyder is an actor, musician, and educator, based in New York City. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in music education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s degree in vocal performance / musical theatre from New York University, Steinhardt. Ben was most recently seen with Broadway Bods in their production of Rascals, where he played G & Equinox. Ben is very greatful to Broadway Bods for having him back to be a part of this incredible new work.

Sarah Galante
Sarah Galante (she/her) is a queer playwright and fat activist based in Brooklyn, where she lives with her spouse and their neurotic corgi, Hoagie. Her work centers bodies onstage, particularly fat bodies, and blends absurdism, dark humor, and emotional realism to interrogate systems of power, shame, and survival.
Her full length plays include Melinda/Melissa/Melody (2026 Workshop at NYU; 2026 Irons in the Fire Reading Series Finalist), Swallow Me Whole (2026 Bay Area Playwrights Festival Honorable Mention; 2025 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award; 2025 Jean Kennedy Smith Award; 2025 Workshop Production at The Tank; 2025 Parity Award Finalist; 2025 O’Neill Playwrights Conference Semi-Finalist; 2024 Jane Chambers Excellence in Feminist Playwriting Finalist) and Body Negative (2026 Blue Ink Award Finalist; 2026 Workshop Production with Broadway Bods & Breaking & Entering Theater Collective; 2026 O’Neill Playwrights Conference Semi-Finalist; 2025 Rooftop Reading Series with Breaking & Entering Collective; 2025 Bushwick Starr Reading Series Finalist, 2025 Irons in the Fire Reading Series Finalist). Sarah is the recipient of the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award, the Jean Kennedy Smith Award, and the Gary Garrison Award. She is a 2026 Writer in Residence with the New Harmony Project, is a New George’s Affiliated Artist, and was a Core Apprentice at the Playwrights’ Center under the mentorship of Jen Silverman. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Dramatic Writing at New York University. Sarah creates theater that is fantastical, fat, and irreverent, and is deeply invested in who gets to be seen, heard, and taken seriously onstage.
Lauren Zeftel
Lauren Zeftel (she/her) is a two time Drama League Resident Artist, a former Playwrights Horizons Directing Fellow, a 2023/2024 Clubbed Thumb New Play Directing Fellow and an alum of the Mercury Store Directors Lab alum, the Williamstown Directing Corps and the Lincoln Center Directors Lab. Her creative work has been presented across New York City at Ars Nova, Atlantic Stage 2, the Brick, the Center at West Park, Clubbed Thumb, the Drama League, the Flea, IATI, La MaMa, Laguardia Performing Arts Center, NYPL Jefferson Market, the New Ohio, the Paradise Factory, and the Tank amongst others. Recent professional directing credits include new works SWALLOW ME WHOLE by Sarah Galante (The Tank, workshop production), MY SIX THERAPISTS by Julia Izumi (Clubbed Thumb Winterworks), and THE GIRL WHO TURNED INTO A FEATHER by Christian Duhamel (developmental reading).
Lauren has developed and directed the premiere productions of Kaela Mei-Shing Garvin's AMBITION: the Female American Serial Killer Musical, Aeneas Sagar Hemphill's BLACK HOLLOW, Matthew Minnicino's MALEFACTIONS, Haleh Roshan's A PLAY TITLED AFTER THE COLLECTIVE NOUN..., Addie Ulrey's CIRCUS TRICK, and Emily Zemba's ON LOSS AND MICE AND MONSTERS AND LOVE. Additional credits include productions of THE SKRIKER by Caryl Churchill (Brooklyn College), IN A WORD by Lauren Yee (WTF/PTP), DETROIT by Lisa D'Amour (IATI/Pigeonholded), and her personal adaptation of THE TUESDAY CLUB MURDERS (special permission, the Agatha Christie estate).
Lauren served as the Associate Director for the commercial run and national tour of Bess Wohl's SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS (dir. Rachel Chavkin; Maximum Entertainment; Ars Nova production), James + Jerome's INK: A PIECE FOR MUSEUMS (dir. Rachel Chavkin + Annie Tippe; The Metropolitan Museum of Art) as part of The Public's 2018 Under the Radar Festival, and most recently on the immersive musical DALí, GALA EXHIBITION Gala Exhibition by Korean artists YoonJi Cho and SeungMin Kim (K-Musical Roadshow). In addition, Lauren has assisted directors Mark Brokaw, Anne Kauffman, Sam Pinkleton, Ken Rus Schmoll, Leigh Silverman, Les Waters, and Oliver Butler.

Alex Bernui (they/them, he/him) has been an educator and director for over a decade. Alex has a B.A. in Theater with a concentration in Directing from Oberlin College, and an M.S. Ed in Educational Theatre from CCNY. Currently, they are a K-8 Drama teacher in Brooklyn, NY. When not teaching, they’re a jack of all trades. Their work has been at the Tank, Director’s Company, Dixon Place, Columbia University, Intiman Theater, and Oberlin College. Alex is overjoyed to be working on this second play out of a lifetime collaboration with playwright Sarah Galante.
Courtney Seyl
Courtney Seyl (they/she) is a playwright, director, and stage manager based in Brooklyn, NY. They graduated from the University of Puget Sound with their BA in Theatre Arts and English in 2017. In Summer of 2021 they were accepted into the Kennedy Center’s Playwriting Intensive by Gary Garrison and that fall they were a part of the cohort of the Voices of America writers workshop . Most recently they directed “Clean Slate” by Rachel Leighson off-Broadway at The Flea and stage managed “In the Devil’s Hands” by Helen Banner with Zoopraxis Theatre. This fall they will be attending the University of Glasgow for their Masters in Playwriting and Dramaturgy.

Nick Webster
Nicholas Webster is a sound designer and composer. He contributed sound and/or music to 'no no no please no god no, nevermind im fine' (HERE Arts Center), and 'Berlindia' (The Tank). Nicholas graduated from Playwrights Horizons Theater School at NYU with a BFA in theatre, and he releases solo music under the name 'Nick from the Net'. nickfromthe.net
