Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancées, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down.
Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves.

Meet the Company
Lisa Michels
SISTER AUGUSTA
Lisa is appearing in her fourth MRP production, most recently portraying Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing. When she is not performing as fictional characters, her many other roles include Director of Quality at a disability services provider, president of Minot Lions Club, and (most importantly) wife, sister, daughter, and aunt.
Brittany Montez
SISTER PHILAMENA
Brittany is delighted to bring the over-the-top Sister Philamena to the stage. She has enjoyed exploring and building the comedic elements of this role and finding ways to convey her thoughts through facial expressions. This is actually Brittany's third time donning a nun's habit for a show, she chooses not to think about the implication of that fact. When not on stage, Brittany works in multiple facets of the theatre including directing, lighting design, popping popcorn and so much more. Outside of the theatre, she is a third grade teacher who also enjoys crocheting stuffed animals, baking breads and desserts, and spending time with family.
Edward Montez
GEORGE
Edward enjoys entertaining the masses when not calculating the logistics of "less-than-truckload" shipping for agricultural supplies. From the stage, to iMagiCon, to The State Fair Parade, he hopes to have brought you some joy. "I hope you love this show as much as I have performing it for you."
Janet Anderson
MOTHER SUPERIOR
Janet is excited to share the stage with these talented actors in this ridiculously absurd farce. Janet was last seen in Much Ado About Nothing as Ursula and is a librarian by day. She and her husband Justin have a couple of pretty awesome kids, Isabella and William, who hopefully won’t cringe too much watching this show.
Allison Dickerson
SALLY
Allison is so excited to get the chance to perform in her second show at Mouse River Players! She is incredibly grateful to the Minot and Minot AFB communities for their continual support. "I hope you all enjoy the show and get as many laughs from it as we did. Love you Mom!"
Justin Anderson
PAUL
Justin has appeared on the MRP stage semi-regularly for nearly 10 years and has recently joined the board of directors. His wife (Mother Superior) even appears on stage with him once in a while. Justin is full-time staff, part-time faculty at MSU and has two children, a HS junior and a college sophomore. In his free time he…tries to figure out if he actually has free time…and usually discovers he doesn’t.
John Ericsson
FATHER CHENILLE
John is excited to be appearing in his second production at Mouse River Players. He hopes the audience enjoys the play as much as the cast enjoys performing it.
Reed Wildes
SISTER MARY CATHERINE
Reed is making her Mouse River Players debut. She has only performed a few shows before coming to Minot and and is excited for her first big-ish role. "Enjoy the show!"
