Directors Message
I want to start by thanking the Leduc Drama Society for taking a chance on a new director and for providing both the incredible guidance and artistic freedom needed to bring my vision of this lovely comedy to the stage.
This has been an incredible learning experience. I have been extremely blessed to work with such an amazing cast and crew who helped bring this show from script to stage. The shared ideas, laughter, and camaraderie have truly made this an easy and joyful journey.
The four strong women in the script are beautifully mirrored by the cast members who portray them — and the other cast members who also bring the rest of the characters to life. I’m so excited for audiences to see the hard work and long hours this cast has put in to make this show entertaining for everyone.
Finally, thank you to our audience for supporting local community theatre. Everyone on stage and behind the scenes does this out of love for the art, and your support makes it all worthwhile. Thank you for coming and I hope you enjoy the show.

Cyndi Wagner
Cyndi is thrilled to be working with this talented cast on such a fun project. Although Cyndi is normally found backstage, directing and stage managing, she decided it was the year to flip the script. This fall, she was Justine in Tiger Lillies out of Season with Bears with Knives Productions. Thanks go to her directors and stage managers that made the transition back to the stage so easy. She would also like to thank her castmates for being so easy to work with. Enjoy the show and have a few laughs with us!
Catherine Campbell
Born and raised in NB and have been an Albertan for 28 years. First play ever was “Calendar Girls” where I played “Jessie” the schoolteacher! Second play was “Gold Dust” a musical comedy which I had a blast doing playing the cook “kooky”. Manluk Theater , Wetaskiwin. Always wanted to do theater but always worked shift work so when I retired, well here I am. Spend my time with my partner, painting and my pup Annie! She’s my dragon! Looking forward to working and hopefully having a few laughs with you all as “Barb”!
Sam Mason
This is Sam's debut show with Leduc Drama Society and they are excited to be back on stage as Mary after a 15 year hiatus. Previously, they have played Elizabeth Proctor in the Crucible, Billy Bibbit in One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and Miss Stacy in Anne of Green Gables along with several ensemble roles. Outside of theatre, Sam is an active volunteer in her community, enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and spending time with her dog Timmy, two cats Ben and Chandler and tortoise Rusty.

Ethan Campos
As a newcomer in the Leduc Drama Society, Ethan couldn’t be more excited to get back into acting. This will be his second time back on stage since 2019, after performing at the Walterdale Theatre in the “From Cradle to Stage” program in 2025. Both have been such welcoming experiences, and a great first step back into theatre. Ethan also had the opportunity to design some props for the show, applying his digital art skills. He looks forward to further developing his skills in the upcoming LDS production of “SpongeBob the Musical,” in May, where he plays Squidward!
He hopes you have as much fun watching “Knickers,” as he did being a part of it.
Melissa Carvery
Melissa Carvery is thrilled to appear in her second production with the Leduc Drama Society and has fully accepted that Knickers: A Brief Comedy will now forever live on her resume as one of her favorite comedic plays. She loves music, comedy and making people laugh—loudly. Immense thanks to the brave cast and crew for the chaos and behind-the-scenes shenanigans, the onstage hilarity and to the audience for showing up, laughing along, and keeping an open mind (and the "snortles" freely flowing).
Peter Dickhout
Peter joined LDS in 2006 with “The Butler Did It”. Most recently he played Colonel Mustard in “Clue”. In between he was involved in some other shows with LDS. Thanks for supporting local arts and enjoy the show.

Denika LePage
From serenading the seats in the MacLab to picking dry paint under non-existent fingernails, it's D Le P!! Originally known as Denika LePage. This local Leduc artist has been losing sleep finding anything, and everything to do with theatre productions for the last year. Most recently she was "The Witch" in Leduc Drama Society's ‘Big Fish’ and is supporting cast in this 'brief' comedy. Most recently, she has found a growing interest in set design and painting sets including painting for the set "Christmas in Rosewood" and previously painted for "Big Fish" and "Head Over Heels"
Leonard Marshall
Len first joined LDS in 1996, singing in the chorus and speaking his first line of dialogue in the musical production of “Grand Hotel”. Over the years he has preformed in upwards of 45 productions. Those include “South Pacific”, “Hello Dolly” and “Never get Smart with an Angel”, just to name a few. He also keeps himself busy with other aspects of theatre, from building sets, working backstage as Stage Manager or stagehand, running lights and sound, and occasionally directing, as well as being a member of the board of directors.
He is looking forward to this production and having the opportunity to work with an absolutely amazing cast. He hopes you’re ready to laugh your head off, and enjoy a little bit of Canadian humour.
