Katt Walsh
Henry
KATT WALSH (they/them)
A curious creative and theatre-maker who seems to be some sort of..."wild woods cweature"...reappearing every few years from the Underground to join forces with new artists and explore new spaces (this time, with SNAP! Productions!) As an actor, director, musician, performance artist, and producer, Katt spent a hendecade headlining in burlesques, cabarets, and culture cons; returning from space as Robin Badfellow in the glam-rock group Bennie & The Gents; channeling the titular chimpanzee in *Lucy: In the Company of Animals* at the old BLUEBARN; and wearing scores of corsets in *Amadeus*, *Sunday in the Park with George*, and *Tom Jones*. Following training at the American Conservatory Theater and earning a BFA in Performance from Creighton University, they had their on-stage debuts at the Omaha Community Playhouse as pith-helmeted Englishman Frank Goodman in *Men on Boats*; and at Brigit Saint Brigit in *Bernhardt/Hamlet*. Katt has returned to BSB stages many times as ingénue Irene in *The Dresser*; the fiery pawn, Alais Capet, in the *The Lion in Winter*; the mad-and-or-possessed Evelyn Foreman in *The Tenth Man*; the enigmatic Renfield in *Dracula ’77*; the dazzling Winter and the strange, staff-bearing Seeress in *Holiday Lights: Winter’s Wonderful Gifts*; and the feral but cuddly Jólakötturinn in *Holiday Tower*. Katt is thrilled to have another opportunity in *Log Cabin* to help explore the joy, trials, and (most importantly) humanity found under the umbrella of trans experience with the audience of this production and everyone working on it.
