Mamma Mia! is one of those shows for which you might not realize you already know most of the songs. Taking a decade of ABBA’s hit songs and building a show around them set in the 1990s may seem like an odd choice, but it has given us one of the longest running and most successful musicals of all time.
You get a little bit of everything in this show… comedy, drama, and romance! We have characters struggling against ideas of fate, characters trying to find their own individuality, characters just looking to have fun, and all of it filled to the brim with nostalgia and memorable pop songs. You might even find yourself compelled to sing along… with the final bows!
