Jeff Klapperich

Jeff Klapperich lives in Wausau with his wife, Jeanne. Active in high school theater, he stepped back and began helping with children’s Christmas musicals in church, 4-H short plays, and skits in church.

Recently, he was Leonato in “Much Ado About Nothing, Sir Toby Belch in “Twelfth Night,” and in Willy Wonka.

Lynn Barnet

Lynn Barnet (left) is a junior at Viterbo University, majoring in Vocal Performance and Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has been in theater productions since the age of 11. Her favorite role was Miss Honey in CWCT's 2023 production of Matilda. Lynn can currently be found in Viterbo's choral and opera productions. If she is not there, she is likely at a local library drinking overpriced coffee, hanging out with her dog Daisy (right), or wandering about humming madly to herself.

Jim "Hawk" Hawkins

Jim (Hawk) Hawkins is a retired lawyer and a lifelong stagehand, actor, and theater-goer. He was last on stage in R&W's production of Calendar Girls in January along with several members of this cast. Good times.  He shares his love of theater participation with his wife Paula, who was also Miss February in Calendar Girls. In two weeks, the two of them will be spending another full weekend of theater at American Players Theater in Spring Green. They otherwise spend time together doing projects and reading with their lap cats.

Katie Kloth

Katie Kloth (she/they) is from Weston WI and a recent graduate of UWSP with their BFA in Acting and BA in Arts Management. Other notable credits include Antipholus of Syracuse (Comedy of Errors), Harriet (POTUS), Agnes u/s (She Kills Monsters), and The Countess (Picasso at the Lapin Agile). Ian Welsh

Ian Welsh is happy to be back again for another round of Shakespeare, and also celebrating his 80th theatrical production! He is very grateful for sharing the stage with old and new friends, and hopes you enjoy the show and laugh a lot.

Madi Tatro

Madi has appeared in 24 musicals, most recently "Madagascar", where she was cast as Gloria, and "The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree", where she played the main antagonist. This is her first Shakespeare and she is loving it!

 

Jeanne Klapperich

Jeanne Klapperich lives in Wausau with her husband, Jeff, and they have 5 children and 4 grandsons.

Her first role was playing Paul Bunyan’s mother in a 4th grade play.

In high school, she had roles in “Our Town,” “The Matchmaker,” and “The Silver Whistle.”

More recently, she was in “Much Ado About Nothing", in "Twelfth Night” as Malvolio, and in “Willy Wonka”.

In between she directed children’s Christmas musicals in church and 4-H short plays. She also had roles in short skits in her church.

Maddie Flees

An incoming senior at Wausau West High School, "The Merry Wives of Windsor" is Maddie's 5th Shakespeare production and 23rd overall. Some of her most prominent roles have been Captain Bree in "The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree" and Madeline Mugg in "Dr. Dolittle Jr," both with Central Wisconsin Children's Theater. Outside of theater, Maddie is a member of the WSMA Honors Treble Choir and a part of the Wausau West Concert Chorale. Maddie would like to thank her family and castmates for always supporting her and this wonderful audience for willing paying to watch her drunkenly stumble around for the better part of two hours. Ellie Larson

Ellie Larson is thrilled to be performing in The Merry Wives of Windsor as Mistress Quickly. She has performed in 15 productions so far, three in the Wausau area, her favorite roles she has portrayed so far are Eponine in "Les Misérables", Rusty in "Footloose", and Brenda Bly in "Brenda Bly: Teen Detective". She is a two-time Jerry Award recipient and is an alum of the central Wi Jerry ensemble. She is excited to continue growing as an actor and performer. When she’s not onstage, Ellie enjoys music, singing, shopping, hanging out with friends.

Jeff McDonald

Jeff McDonald (Dr. Caius) has performed in over 30 productions in central Wisconsin over the past 26 years. This is his 5th production with River and Woods Theater, most recently as part of the ensemble in “The Wedding Singer.” Jeff is thankful to Cindi for letting me be a part of this great show, and thanks to his husband Jim for 25 years of being his biggest fan – Oogaloogalooshka! 

Isabella Stutting

Isabella Stutting is excited to be performing in Shakespeare for the first time! By participating in both the children's show and the adult production, she is learning new skills and enjoying every moment on stage.

Sarah Brock

Sarah joined the Wausau arts scene only a few years ago, and while this is her first foray into Shakespeare in the Park, she has been in both River and Woods and Wausau Community Theatre shows over the past few years, as well as being a member of CenterStage. Mistress Page has allowed Sarah to tap into her (previously unknown) over-acting skills, and allowed her to enjoy being on the same side of a fight with Keela and occassionally tell Katie what to do! Sarah wants to thank the whole cast for the giggles (and Hannah for the cookies), and the community for coming out for the Bard!

Keela Evelyn

Keela is excited to take the stage once more. Keela has always loved Shakespeare and enjoys digging deep into his characters and stories. Sharing so many scenes with her friends is an honor and a joy.
