Porter Hobbs

Carson is incredibly excited to be apart of Oh, Kentucky as Porter! He is a rising senior at Pace University for his BFA in Musical Theatre where he just played Anthony in Sweeney Todd. Previous professional credits include, The Watcher in the Woods (Off-Broadway) and Violet (Regional). He can’t wait to bring this story to life and for everyone to see it!

Sophia Manicone is thrilled to be working on this project! Most recently, she toured with the Tony Award-winning revival of Parade as Iola Stover after performing the role on Broadway and at New York City Center. Off-Broadway: Watcher in the Woods. Regional: Ruthless! (Tina), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy). Community Theatre: The Sound of Music(Liesl), Sister Act (Mary Robert), Newsies (Katherine). Lina Marie is a New York-based artist who has performed Off-Broadway, on regional stages, cruises, touring productions, and featured on 3 original cast albums! Recent credits include Sister Mary Amnesia in 'Nunsense' (Theatre L'Homme Dieu,) Diane in 'Come From Away' (Suncoast Broadway,) lead vocalist at 'Christmas on Ice' in Niagara Falls, Canada, and Fraulein Rottenmeier in 'Heidi' at the Signature Center. Also a musician and educator, Lina teaches private voice and piano lessons for all ages. When not teaching or traveling, you can find Lina gigging around NYC and supporting live music and theatre everywhere! Much love to Ben and her family for their unconditional support and care.

Joseph Sanford IV

Joseph is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater. Some favorite credits include Alfred in A Great Wave Part Two at the Poppenhusen Institute , Bobby in Memphis the Musical and Spot Conlon in Newsies at Townhall Arts Center.  

Joseph, Originally from Denver Colorado, is always excited and humbled by the opportunity to perform in a new work. When not performing, Joseph is building computers, creating original songs, or learning about the newest technology out in the world. Follow on Instagram @j4xiv

Sven W is an NYC-based performer, New York Film Academy alumnus, and member of Epic Players. Recent Off-Broadway credits include Seussical as a Wickersham Brother and Rent as Roger (u/s), Ensemble, and Dance Captain. He has also appeared in new works including Karkoid as Lazar and Next Big Hit as Klaus, directed by Justin Guarini. Most recently, Sven performed in the Arts for Autism concert on Broadway.
 

Ellie Sorota

Music and Lyrics

Ellie Sorota is a musical theater composer originally from Kentucky, based in Los Angeles for 25 years. Her scores blend heartfelt melodies with intricate narratives, drawing on her Southern roots and the creative energy of LA.

 

Her work is defined by a deep commitment to character-driven storytelling — the kind of score where every song earns its place in the drama. Oh, Kentucky! is a homecoming, in every sense.

Suzanne Hayes

Book

Suzanne Hayes trained in acting in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her first audition led to a role in the SAG independent film War Eagle, Arkansas. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and discovered a love of screenwriting along the way.

 

She holds a BA in Creative Writing with a screenwriting emphasis, and an MA in Scriptwriting from Goldsmiths, University of London. Oh, Kentucky! is her debut musical.

Allegra Davis

Musical Director

Allegra Fisher Davis has been teaching students of all ages to play the piano since 2001. A student of Daniel Jackson, Julie Rivers, and James Rivers, Allegra completed her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance Summa Cum Laude at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, then completed two Master of Arts degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary. She deeply enjoys performing and teaching music of all styles, from Bach to Broadway and all the sacred, jazz, and movie music she can fit in-between. Her goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music in all her students.
