Julia Pejsach

Julia loves performing and singing, and she dreams about being on Broadway one day! This is Julia's third year participating in the PCCS Drama Club, and she is super excited to be performing as Matilda. She would like to thank her parents for their support, and her teachers, especially Mrs. Fiorelli and Mrs. Canfield, for trusting her and for helping her prepare for this role. Julia hopes that the audience will enjoy the show!

Avery Brix

Avery is an 11-year-old fifth grader at PCCS. She has been a member of the drama club for three years and this will be her third musical performance. In Avery‘s free time, she is a junior volunteer at Reach Rescue Dog Shelter, a PCCS cheerleader, and loves dancing, singing, playing tennis, and traveling with family.

Claire Stewart

Claire is a seventh-grader who loves to read, write, and act. They enjoy sports, particularly American Ninja Warrior, and train competitively. They also love running in cross country and track.

Keagan McCormick

Keagan is an 8th grader in Mrs.Wright's class. He has been in 4 school productions since 4th grade and has enjoyed each one. Thank you Mrs. Fiorelli, Mrs.Canfield, and Mrs. Heroux for making this show possible, and you, for watching!

Erika Boettcher

Erika is in 7th grade and has been in the Drama Club for 3 years. Some of her hobbies are playing clarinet, reading "Percy Jackson", and hanging out with her friends. In her free time, she enjoys being part of the Track and Cross Country teams and a Ballet class.

David Skariah

David is a 5th grader and has been in 3 plays. He is playing the part of Michael and Ensemble. He enjoys the play and is excited to perform.

Ramona Luri

This is Mona’s second year doing Drama Club. She loves singing and dancing and really enjoys being in musicals. Mona would love to continue drama club in high school and wants to continue developing her skills.

Jonah Stewart

Jonah attends Drama Club every year! He loves to act and sing for all those watching! Jonah’s favorite thing about drama club is blocking scenes.

Livianne Schmidt

This is Livi’s 2nd play at PCCS but her 9th play she’s participated in. She is thankful for the drama club teachers for helping her grow. Matilda is her favorite show!

Aarav Bhatia

Aarav is in 3rd grade and loves to play tennis and basketball. He loves to travel with his family and explore different cultures of the world. He looks forward to spending time with his cousins and enjoys the outdoors.

Ellis Myers

This show is Ellis Myers’ first time performing in a PCCS musical, and he has loved the experience even more than he loves chocolate cake. Ellis performed in "Into The Woods, Jr." last summer in the role of Jack with his acting studio (Actors Training Center in Wilmette). He acted in a movie called "Perpetrator" by Chicago director Jennifer Reeder, as well as in a few TV commercials, including ones for Big Lots, Wegmans Grocery, and Pure Michigan. Ellis will be making his professional stage debut this spring at The Chicago Shakespeare Theater in a world premiere comedy called "Judgement Day" starring Jason Alexander. Enjoy the Show!

Adalyn Felix

Adalyn likes acting and softball. Her favorite part about being in the musical is: she gets to act people or things she doesn’t normally do. She's in 4th grade and her favorite subjects are math and science. Her favorite animal is a dolphin or a narwhal. She plays 1st base and catcher in softball.

Hannah Cachola

Hannah is in fifth grade and this is her second production with PCCS. She is excited to perform as Alice In Matilda Jr. When not on stage, Hannah enjoys playing basketball, softball, piano, singing in choir, dancing in Hip hop, and spending time with her family and friends. Lucie Panneck

Lucie is a fourth grader in Mrs. Luckey’s class. She has two sisters who also go to Prairie Crossing. When she's not busy with drama she plays trumpet in the school band, plays piano, competitively figure skates, and plays softball. She also loves to read, draw, and write stories.

Elsie Reh

Elsie is a sixth grader. This is her third year in the musical. Elsie takes ballet and piano in her free time. She enjoys reading and writing.

Declan Heroux

Declan is so excited to be playing Nigel in Matilda, Jr. Declan is a 5th grader and loves horseback riding, spending time with friends, and reading. He is also a proud Boy Scout who loves the outdoors. Declan wants to thank the directors for their hard work and his family for their support, especially his favorite fan Lexington.

Jackson Brix

Jackson is in 5th grade and likes to golf. Jackson has been in 3 plays. Jackson likes drawing in art class.

Jack Muschlitz

This is Jack's 4th year in Drama Club. His appreciation of accents started as a chimney sweep in the ill-fated Mary Poppins of 2020. He is excited to bring Sergei to life! Enjoy the show!

Scarlett Ovitt

Scarlett Ovitt has been in 2 school plays now she joined Prairie Crossing when she was in 4th grade. She likes to dance and sing. She got the role Big Kid 1 in Matilda Jr the musical. Her favorite color is purple and she likes flowers. She hopes you enjoy the show.

Breanna Paul

Bree is 11 years old and in 5th grade. This is her first year in drama club. She is interested in singing and acting. She's done singing lessons in the past so she thinks she would be a great singer in drama club. The storyline and songs in this musical are very catchy and fun so stay tuned!

Addison Gonzalez-Neisen

Addy is in third grade and loves singing and doing musicals. This is her 9th musical she has been in. Her favorite ones were Seussical, Matilda, and. Finding Nemo. She wants to thank all her teachers that have helped her grow.

Audrey Rodriguez

This is Audrey’s first play. She really likes animals and playing tag.

Averie Miller

Averie is in 4th grade. She loves minions. She likes performing with her best friend Sienna.

Emma Cachola

Emma is in third grade and this is her first production with PCCS. She is excited to perform as a little kid in Matilda Jr. When not on stage, Emma enjoys playing softball, playing the clarinet, dancing in Hip hop, doing cartwheels, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her dog Maddux. Thanks to Mom, Dad, and Hannah for your support and guidance.

Mazzy Harris

Mazzy likes games. Her favorite colors are brown and red. Her favorite animals are Rottweilers and capybara. She likes anime.

Emma Whitlatch

Emma is in 5th grade. This is her first play. She likes to dance and sing.

Hanna Boettcher

Hanna is in Drama Club for the first time this year. She is in third grade. Her hobbies are drawing, playing outside, and playing with her guinea pig.

Inara Puccini

This is Inara's second year performing in PCCS drama. And she loves it! Her wish would be for the school to do "Percy Jackson" the musical and to be in it before she graduates.

Maggie Parker

Maggie is a 4th-grade student at PCCS, and this is her 2nd year in drama club! She loves to act, sing, and dance and is very excited to be a part of the performance. Maggie is also a competitive gymnast and plays Lacrosse for a local Lake County team. When she's not involved in drama club or sports, Maggie loves being active outside and really enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Nora Wick

Nora Wick is in Ms. Becker's third-grade class. She loves art, donuts, playing sports, and drama club! This will be her second theater performance.

Zoe Stender

Zoe loves taking care of animals and drama! This is her second show and is so excited to be part of Matilda Jr! She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, sister, and extended family for supporting her in her new passion! Enjoy the show!

Eden Ausbrook

Eden previously performed in Beauty and the Beast, as well as the PCCS Choir. She likes video games, along with reading and playing piano. Her happy place is being outside in the fresh air. She loves animals, her favorite being a guinea pig.

Elle Brown

This is Elle’s first play. She’s enjoying it because she likes singing. She likes to write.

Krish Chatlani

Krish has been a part of a Lego Robotics team. This is his first play. He really likes Legos and performing in the play with his friends.

Leah Gernady

Leah is a fourth grader at PCCS. She loves zebras, pandas, corgis, and anything miniature. In her free time, you can find her creating art, making slime, and listening to Taylor Swift. This is her first musical.

Lila Ricchio

Lila is a 10-year-old student and this is her second show at PCCS. Lila loves cracking jokes, playing with friends, dancing or singing, and hugging her pugs. She likes to teach her dogs new tricks. She also likes helping her dad build stuff!

Nikolas Soyke

Nikolas is a 4th grader and this is his second play at PCCS. He enjoys playing Legos with his brother and creating big, elaborate storylines to go along with their creations. Nikolas also loves to read, play hockey, and go camping.

Sienna Cerniuk

Sienna is in 4th grade. She likes minions and performing with her best friend Averie M. This is her second play.

Violet Kaminski

Violet is so excited to be a part of Matilda Jr at PCCS. Previously she has performed as a Villager in Beauty and the Beast. When she's not doing theater, Violet loves to play softball. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Kyle Fiorelli

Kyle Fiorelli has been involved in theatre for nearly 25 years, creating the PCCS Drama Club in 2017. She holds a Theatre Arts degree from Augustana College and often works with Mundelein High School as their hair and makeup designer. She thanks PCCS for the opportunity to bring theatre to our community and hopes you enjoy the show!

Katie Canfield

Katie Canfield started her musical theater experience by playing Baroness Elsa Schrader in her high school's production of The Sound of Music. She holds a Master of Education degree in music education and has served as the piano accompanist for several opera showcase performances over the years. She has loved witnessing the musical growth of her students throughout the past few years and is so proud of them for working so hard to produce a successful show!

Melanie Champ-Heroux

Melanie received her B.S. in Theatre Performance from Bradley University in 2006. In the years since, Melanie has toured the US as an actor & dancer, competed professionally in the National & World Ballroom circuit, and has had choreography featured throughout the country. While still traveling the US as a representative of Fred Astaire Dance Studios Illinois, Melanie also focuses on Musical Theatre choreography & dance instruction close to home. Melanie is grateful to have the opportunity to serve her own community as choreographer for Warren Township High School's Theatre & Show Choir programs and, as a proud PCCS parent, with the PCCS Drama Club. She would like to thank Mrs Fiorelli, Mrs Canfield, and the cast for their hard work, and Steve, Declan, & Lexington for their love and encouragement.

Andy Thomas

Andy Thomas has been an Art teacher at PCCS for 10 years. As an educator, he has a unique role in being able to see first-hand the tremendous growth of students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Working with the Drama Club has been a wonderful experience and he is so grateful to everyone involved in Matilda the Musical!

Josh Flood

Josh is a cat dad to 5 little furballs, a Dad joke connoisseur, and the ultimate Lord of the Rings nerd. He would like to thank Nick Carter for his support.

Peter Zaragoza

Peter has worked at PCCS for 9 years. Peter's interest in movies helps him work on editing and video-taping school events. His favorite animal is a penguin. HE would like to thank his beautiful wife, Megan King, for her love and support.

Ariana Wille

Ari is super happy to be in Backstage Crew and help out with the sets. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and helping people. This is her first time helping with any play and she is super excited.

Ava Nebelski

Ava likes drawing and crafts and she enjoys hanging out with friends. She was in Backstage Crew last year. She enjoys helping out. She likes music and watching plays is always fun. She can remember when a box or set piece gets moved so she can probably be helpful.

Aveleen Gloria

Aveleen has loved being an artist for as long as she can remember. She loves drawing, painting, and making and playing music on the piano, ukulele, and now drums. This opportunity with Backstage Crew has been such a blessing. Aveleen aspires to be a musician and artist in her future.

Charlotte Otte

This is Charlotte's second play as part of Backstage Crew. She enjoys creating the backgrounds to help tell the story. Outside of school and theater, Charlotte likes listening to music, playing volleyball, and traveling, especially to the Alps.

Grayson Garraway

Grayson is in the 5th grade here at PCCS. This is his first time in backstage crew. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Joshua Luna

Joshua is an 8th grader who enjoys playing soccer and video games. His favorite soccer player is Messi and his favorite video game is FIFA. Joshua's favorite food is pepperoni pizza and wings.

Kai Paul

Kai loves to work hard and loves to help out when there is help needed. She worked with her friends and her friends worked with her to make good progress and help complete tasks necessary.

Lana Wick

This is Lana’s 2nd year in Backstage Crew. She has had a great time building and moving around the set. When she’s not building sets she enjoys playing basketball and cooking. She hopes everyone has a great time.

Lilah Gapinski

Lilah is excited to be part of the Backstage Crew for this production. As a dedicated crew member, she's helping with props management and ensuring the smooth running of the show behind the scenes. She is committed to making this production unforgettable!

Luke Rettig

Luke has been in Backstage Crew only for the first time and here's what he likes about it: he likes to do projects and have fun!

Mae Jackson

Me is so happy that she is in the play and she gets to see all of you. She has been doing plays for 4 years now. She loves stickers and her favorite part of the play was painting the blocks.

Makalu Mitrovic

Makalu is an 8th grader. She enjoys babysitting. She likes the beach and she hopes you will like this show and come back next year too!

Ryan Brzezinski

Ryan is in fifth grade and this is his first time on Backstage Crew. He has 1 brother, 1 sister, and 4 cats. He really liked helping Mr. Thomas and the rest of the crew.

Silvie Panneck

This is Silvie’s first time in Backstage Crew. When she is not doing Backstage Crew she practices her figure skating and baking. She hopes you all enjoy the show!!

Vivien Sloma

She really likes South Park and a music artist called Ghost and Pals. Half of her room is dedicated to a South Park character named Butters. She owns over 100 South Park items!
