Scene 1 - The Boar King
Demeter, Persephone, Antheia, Artemis, and the Dryads celebrate Spring.
Scene 2 - If I Were a Rich Man
The Parade of Gods
Costume contest participants, please join us in the parade when we come to get you.
Scene 3 - Dance of the Satyrs
All willing audience members are invited to dance with the gods.
Scene 4 - Dark Outside
Persephone and her friends are out picking flowers when Hades and Hypnos interrupt. Persephone is persuaded to join them in the Underworld.
Scene 5- Which Witch
Persephone enters the Underworld. Though fearful at first, she step into her new role as Queen of the Underworld, deciding the fates of the Underworld Shades.
Scene 6 - Lanterns Lit
Demeter's Lament
Above ground, Demeter mourns the disappearance of her daughter. The other gods become concerned over her grief which is causing all the crops to die.
Scene 7 - Abbey
Persephone, having been presented with the pomegranate and the option of staying in the Underworld as Queen forever, agonizes over the many new and old expectations and responsibilities weighing on her.
Scene 8 - Sympathy Magic
Choosing to create her own path, Persephone eats a handful of pomegranate seeds. This way she is free to rule the Underworld for part of the year and be with her family and friends above ground for the rest of the year. When she returns above ground, she is reunited with her mother. All the dryads, gods, and shades join in celebrating Persephone's return.
