Meet the Company
Maggie Rubin
Maggie is an experienced stage performer having appeared in Godspell Jr. and Frozen Jr. at NDP and in productions at Children’s Playhouse and Cockpit in Court. She is very excited to be able to perform for everyone! She would like to thank her family, Ms. Ward, Mrs. Bilenki, Mrs. Poxon, and Ms. Rachel as well as everyone who took the time to come and see our wonderful show!
Maddie Herbert
Maddie has been in four plays, including “Peter Pan Jr.,” “Beauty and the Beast Jr.,” “Frozen Jr.” and “Wizard”! She looks forward to performing Scarecrow’s song, "If I only had a Brain." She loves the choreography of this song and the music is very fun! She would like to thank her family, because of how much they put into the show by driving her to and from school. She would also like to thank her teachers, friends, and especially her directors!
Macy Rehak
Macy has appeared in lots of shows. Three of her favorite roles are as Bielke the youngest daughter in “Fiddler of the Roof”, as the Red Queen in “Alice in the Palace,” and as The Leather Wing Bat in "Forest Folk Tales." She is excited to be performing alongside her classmates and getting to perform in front of an audience. She would like to thank her mom for making sure she got to practice, her coaches for being flexible with her schedule, her peers who did not drop out of the play and kept strong, and all the people who made the play possible, the stage crew, cast members, choreographer, Ms. Ward, Mrs. Poxon, and Ms. Bilenki.
Zarah Shahpurwala
Zehra has participated in many wonderful plays, but top three would be Frozen Jr. (an NDP play) in which she aired as Olaf, Artisocats Jr., in which she was the evil butler, and Xanadu, in which I was Aphrodite. She is looking forward to spending time with friends and building bonds with the cast as well as playing the Lion and having fun with our cast!
She would like to thank her family for supporting her acting dreams. "I would also like to thank my amazing directors Mrs. Ward, Mrs. Poxon, and Mrs. Bilenki, for encouraging me throughout the play!"
Kate Kozlowski
Kate appeared last on NDP's stage in Frozen Jr. but also performed in Guys and Dolls as a gambler. She is excited to sing and dance on stage with her friends and can’t wait to ride in the hot air balloon! She would like to thank her mom and dad for helping her practice her lines and for all of their support.
Ananda Claxton
This is Ananda’s first time on the NDP stage. She looks forward to performing with her friends, even though it is a bit awkward to be playing a live Toto! She would like to thank her family for making this opportunity possible.
Ava Malecki
This is Ava's first stage appearance and she is very excited! She is looking forward to performing as the witch and meeting new people in the play. She is eager to engage with others in theater and to get to know them better. She would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers. She especially thanks all of our directors because the play would be impossible without them!
Hailey Luong
Hailey has appeared twice before on the NDP stage in Godspell Jr. and in Frozen Jr.. She would like to thank Mrs. Alina, her piano and voice teacher, her family and Ms. Ward, Mars. Bilenki and Mrs. Poxon. She looks forward to finding her place in the spotlight!
Kaitlyn Dey
Kaitlyn has performed on the NDP twice before in Godspell Jr. and in Frozen Jr. She is very excited to be learning all the dances and getting to shine on stage. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad for always supporting her in everything she does!
Mia Saxon
Mia loved performing as young Nala in the Lion King in elementary school as well as performing in Frozen Jr. here at NDP. One day she dreams of performing as Ophelia in Hamlet. She is excited to be singing her first-ever musical duet in this show! She looks forward to the chance to bond with the other members of the cast and to make memories. She would like to thank the dedicated directors who strived to bring this show to the stage despite obstacles. She wants to thank her family and friends for being so supportive!
BiancaRose Nnabue
BiancaRose has performed before on the NDP stage in Frozen Jr., but her dream role is to someday perform as the lead muse in Hercules. She has enjoyed being a person of Oz because of the opportunity to support her fellow performers. She would like to thank her family and all of her directors who helped crate this fine performance.
Rire Adeyoju
Rire has performed in the Wizard of Oz before as a yellow munchkin in elementary school! She has also performed in Firebird and as a goblin. She is looking forward to feeling accomplished for learning all of the songs and dances and for having the opportunity to make her family proud. Reagan appeared last on our stage as one of the hidden folk in Frozen Jr. She looks forward to using this experience to connect with her NDP “sisters.” She would like to thank her teachers and especially her mom and dad.

This is Michelle’s first time on stage. She is most looking forward to wearing cute costumes and being a munchkin! She would like to thank her parents for supporting her.

This is Grace’s first time being in a play. She is looking forward to all of the fun choreography and singing with her friends. She would like to thank her family for encouraging her and helping her gain the confidence to finally join a play. Her sister was always in plays. Now that she is in her sister’s shoes, she has found that it is really, really fun to perform!
