Meet the Company

David Amrhein

Sir Wilfrid Robarts

David Amrhein is excited and honored to be in this production of Witness for the Prosecution.  This is his fourth production for SCCC, previously performing in The Laramie Project,  as Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night, and Randy in Almost, Maine. Both an actor and a technician, David graduated from Truman State University with a BA in History and a Minor in Theatre, and later completed his Masters of Arts in Teaching from Lindenwood University.

Johnny is excited and thankful to have this role in this production. This is his first YPT production and second show he’s done. He is an upcoming senior at Ft Zumwalt East.

Ella Shylanski

Romaine Heigler-Vole

Ella is very excited to be doing her first show with YPT! She will start her second year at SCC this fall, pursuing her AFA in musical theatre. Some of her recent roles include Ensemble in The Spitfire Grill for SCC Center Stage, and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof at Act Two Theatre. Romaine is such a fun character for her to play because she gets to express her love for a good femme fatale. She would also like to thank her mom for helping her learn all her lines. Enjoy this Enigmatic and exciting show!

Connor Caravaggi

Connor Caravaggi is thrilled to be returning to the stage after a brief hiatus from the craft. He is honored to play the role of Mr. Myers in this Agatha Christie play. This is his sixth theater production aside from countless improv shows he performed with his theatre troupe. His passions center around music and being loud for anyone in earshot of whatever he does. It just so happens that those two components make it to a stage one way or another. He would like to personally thank his friends and family, along with those who support his journey, for not giving up on him.

Alayna Bonck is an upcoming senior at Fort Zumwalt East High School, where she is involved in Mixed Chamber Choir, Varsity Cheer, and will soon be involved in the theatre program. In this show, she will be playing the part of Mrs. Mayhew. This is Alayna's first time auditioning for any role, and she is excited to be taking her first step into theater.

Brooklynn is a 14-year-old theatre kid. She is going to be a freshman in the fall, where she will be learning at St. Charles West. She is also a junior varsity cheerleader! More than anything, she loves theatre. Whether that is in a suspenseful play or a heartwarming musical, acting is her happy place. When she’s not on stage, she still involves herself in the arts. Backstage, she enjoys helping with makeup. She is so happy to be in this show and can’t wait to show you an amazing production!

Anna is so excited to be part of this show. She has had a great time playing Janet Mackenzie. She is excited to start high school this coming school year at Veritas Academy. Some of her favorite shows she’s done include Peter Pan (Mr Darling/Jukes), High School Musical (Skater), Music Man (Salesman/Pick a Little), Annie (Lt Ward), 101 Dalmatians (Jasper) and Frozen (Kristoff). This is her first YPT production. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her.

Maiah is excited to start her sophomore year as a Fine Arts major at St Charles Community College. She is very enthusiastic about this show and looks forward to the audience's enjoyment of the suspense and drama.  This will be her first time participating in a YPT production.

Hailey Smith is a recent graduate from Lindenwood University with a BFA in Entertainment and Production Design. She is excited to work on another show with YPT and is glad to have the opportunity once again! She would like to thank Ryne, Abby, and Josiah for their help inside the shop and outside of it. C.J. Robinson

C.J. Robinson is a high school graduate going to attend SCC. C.J. has done many shows before, mostly as crew or crew lead for many high school productions, and recently C.J. has done a cast role as Pig 3 in Timberland High School’s production of Shrek the Musical. C.J. would like to thank his friends and family for their support throughout C.J.’s life to help get C.J. here, and C.J. hopes you enjoy seeing C.J. play this new role as Dr. Wyatt.

Noah Reinhart

Noah is fairly new to performance theatre; going into their sophomore year of high school, this is their second acting role in a play and first role outside of a high school theatre, having done their high school's student-directed play back in February of this year. They would like to thank their friends and family for supporting them in the time leading up to this performance, and special thanks to someone specific who came into their life and gave them even more motivation to excel in acting.

Elliott is an upcoming sophomore at Ft Zummwalt East High School where he is involved in theatre and choir. This is hist first YPT show and his third show ever.

Micah is excited to be the policeman/warden in Witness! He has been a part of 1 show and is excited to make his YPT debut! In his free time, he likes to hang out with friends and dance. He would also like to shout out to his friends and family, especially his mom. He knows you all are going to love this show as much as he does.

Josiah Haan has thoroughly enjoyed working as the Director of Witness for the Prosecution, as well as the Co-Scenic and Costume Designer along with Ryne Halstead. Josiah works as the Artistic Director of Young People’s Theatre and the Instructional Coordinator for Theatre Design and Technology at SCC. He has loved this opportunity to bring area high-school students, SCC students, and alumni, together to tell this story and all learn from each other. Josiah would like to thank Abby, Sean, Ryne, Hailey, Lauren, the cast and crew of Witness for all of their hard work and dedication to making this show happen and make it an immersive experience for the audience.

Sean Lawson is excited to be a student director for Witness for the Prosecution! He is going into his senior year of high school, and while he is usually an actor at YPT, he is looking forward to stepping out of his comfort zone and getting to learn more about the technical side of theatre. He would like to thank his family and friends, as well as Josiah, Abby, and Ryne for giving him this opportunity and for helping him learn about technical theatre!

Ryne Halstead

Ryne Halstead is currently pursuing a BFA in entertainment production design at Lindenwood University. He has worked for Stages and Opera Theater of Saint Louis as a carpenter and props artisan, respectively. He is the Co-Scenic Designer and Technical Director of Young People’s Theatre. Enjoy the show.

Abby Myers

Abby Myers is a Sophomore at SIUE, where she is pursuing a degree in theatre education. Her previous show credits include White Christmas (Stage Manager/Assistant Director), Shrek (Assistant Director/Stage Manager), and The Glass Menagerie (Stage Manager). She also works as an administrative assistant for YPT. This summer, she is also working as a Performing Arts camp instructor here at SCC! Abby would like to thank her fellow members of production staff for their creativity, dedication, and countless hours of hard work on this show. And finally, thank you for coming to appreciate the arts and all the time put into this production. She hopes you enjoy!

Lauren Porter

Lauren is super excited to have you all here for Witness for the Prosecution!. She serves as the Director of Fundraising and Marketing and is excited to grow YPT’s donor and patron base. Lauren previously worked with theatres including Seattle Rep and Glimmerglass, and she is eager to bring her experience to YPT. Lauren is so happy to share this show with you and celebrate the incredible hard work of everyone involved. She would like to thank all of the production staff for their dedication to YPT and their dedication to the first-ever play that YPT has produced.
