Meet the Company

Julianna Goldsmith

Eurydice
Julianna is thrilled to be returning to the stage as Eurydice! She's grateful to be part of the SRS community and to have previously performed with Cease & Desist in their one-act play festivals. Other theatre credits include Ashlee in Dance Nation, Jan in WYRD, and Octavius Caesar in Antony & Cleopatra, all at Atlantic Stage 2 in NYC. On screen, she can be seen in the indie horror film The Ritual, streaming on Amazon and Apple TV. Endless gratitude to her parents, family, and friends for their unwavering love and support, from her first time stepping onto a black box stage at ten years old to every stage since. Love you all! @juliannagoldsmith

Isabel Marcus

Euyrdice
Isabel is so grateful to be working with Cease and Desist again, after she shared last years’ Bellwether with many fellow Eurydice cast mates and crew members. Originally from Texas, Isabel has been acting since she was 12 and is coming up on a decade in LA. Some of her favorite roles have been as a Recurring Guest Star on NBC’s This Is Us and ABC’s Fresh off the Boat and as the Assistant Director for the Silverlake Children’s Theater Group. In July, she had the honor of Assistant Stage Managing a production of Proof by David Auburn right next door at the El Portal Theater, starring Ed Begley Jr. and his daughter Hayden, directed by Stuart Rogers, and Stage Managed by Megan Raitano. She has been a student at Stuart Rogers Studios for 8 years, where she has found some of her best friends and collaborators. She would like to thank all of her Los Angeles community and found family, which she is continually awestruck to be a part of.

Alex Chung

Orpheus
And so you make the farm, and so you disappear into your days, your days. Into the ground. Before you start each day, the place is as it is, and at the days end, it is as it is, a little changed by work, but still itself, having included you and everything you’ve done. And it is who you are, and you are what it is. You will work many days no one will ever see; their record is the place. This way you come to know that something moves in time that time does not contain. For by this timely work you keep yourself alive as you came into time, and as you’ll leave: God’s dust, God’s breath, a little Light. -Wendell Berry (The Farm)

Evans Ford

Father
Evans Forde is an actor/writer/musician based in Los Angeles. He has appeared in numerous film, TV and stage productions, including a small role in the HBO juggernaut Euphoria.

Curtiss Johns

Interesting Man/Lord of the Underworld
Curtiss Johns is a writer, actor, and Co-Artistic Director of Cease & Desist Theatre Collective. He has appeared in numerous productions at the studio over the years and co-directed Bellwether last fall. Curtiss also serves as the Technical Director for SRS, bringing his creativity and technical expertise to productions both onstage and behind the scenes. This copy was written by Aubree Bowen, the other Co-Arstic Director, and is pending approval.

Greg Scali

Loud Stone
This is Greg’s bio and he hopes you like it a lot. Almost as much as Greg likes making cocktails for you at @tuccituesday. This is Greg’s first full-length production for Cease & Desist and he couldn’t be more excited (except maybe if he was allowed to make cocktails while doing the play, but he’s been told that’s unprofessional). Besides talking in third person, Greg will also be starring in the upcoming horror feature Do Not Watch which has a 100% rating on rotten tomatoes and is set to release this year. How are you?

Celest D'Amore

Little Stone
Celest is born and raised in Glendora. She graduated from UC Berkeley where she was a tour guide, on the board of a successful startup company, and an entertainment reporter for CalTV. She has been studying at Stuart Rogers’ Studios since 2024. This is the third Cease and Desist production that she has been apart of. She is currently producing and starring in the short film: Too Good. On the weekends you can find her snowboarding (and getting injured), head banging at raves (PLUR), and giving her friends legal advice for non-legal matters (always get a prenup, ladies).
