Steve Greenstein

Steve Greenstein is an actor, playwright and director. Steve Greenstein is moving into his fourth decade of work, on screen, television, and theater. A Bronx born character actor, Steve has appeared in over 40 network television, and feature films, most recently seen on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, as Toots Shor in season five. Other television and film credits include Pose, Iron Fist, Confessions of a Shopaholic, The History of Future Folk, and such retro Classics as Seinfeld, Growing Pains, and Law and Order SVU. His stage work includes Off and off-off Broadway Plays, National tours, including Flash Dance the Musical, and West Side Story in London’s West End. Regional credits: Guys and Dolls at the Old Globe in San Diego, Asolo in Sarasota, Florida, Buddy Holly at the Flat Rock Playhouse in North Carolina, Over the River and Through the Woods at St. Vincent’s Theater in Pennsylvania. Mr. Greenstein wrote, directed, and starred in Covid Ditty, winner of the “Talent of the Year Award” at the Amsterdam International Film Festival. Mr. Greenstein was a regular on the Israeli Educational Television Program “Radio Fever” and is a graduate of the Arad Arts Project where he developed his acclaimed solo show From Bubby to Bat Yam, which toured Belgium, Israel and venues in the United States. He received his acting training from the City College of New York, New York University and professional acting workshops in Los Angeles. He is a proud member of Actors’ Equity and Sag Aftra.
